It’s awfully quiet on the forum. Even thought not much is going on here politics and the economy and this virus thing are certainly on a roller coaster.

I was sorry to see Mayor Pete go but I think it was wise on his part. I was looking forward to voting for him on supper Tuesday but I don’t think it will be my last opportunity. I would hope he is in major consideration for Vice President. Wouldn’t that be rich to replace bigot Pence with a brilliant gay guy! Regardless I’m sure he has a brilliant future and I’m definitely proud of him and everything he accomplished in the race.

I did not know that Mayor Pete had suspended his campaign. He has a great resume and ran a really good campaign winning the most delegates in Iowa and coming close in New Hampshire. I try and keep politics and sex separate, but Mayor Pete and his husband are both smoking hot. Coming from the Republican State of Indiana, if the Dems win in November, it is more likely that Mayor Pete will have a cabinet post than be the VP, but he has a great future ahead of him, and what a great gay role model he is.

Rep - you cam still vote for him on Super Tuesday if you want because his name will still be on ballots in those states.

Pete has withdrawn and currently is on his way to Texas where he is assumed to endorsing Biden who is having a rally there tonight. I have a lot of respect for Pete and I know he will be someone we see again on the political stage in the future. I have not yet settled on a particular candidate so far this election cycle but I do now that I will vote blue no matter who that is. Four more years of Trump is not something the country can endure.

I would point out the small differences in how countries react to issues here recently. In Mexico where I have been since September, back when the virus broke out form China, the government plastered the media with information about symptoms and preventive measures. They sent trucks with oud speakers through the cities and towns broadcasting over loudspeakers. When the first cases were ocated earlier last week, they held a press conference and took questions form the press, disclosing what had happened and what they were doing.

Compare that to Trump's reaction.

Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now.
