I’ve dubbed this the great jon/mike debate….it goes on and on….it’s lots of fun.

1. As stowe1 has said, i have known many swishey straight guys

2. As Mark and Jon have said, “the line of sexuality is really changing.” my husband is a teacher in a graduate arts program and he reports that you cant really tell straight from gay anymore – and the kids don’t seem to care much. Maybe it's not the site that's changing but the pool of models.

3. As someone said, what about Logan? Or Shane?

4. And when we talk about “the direction the site is headed” what about the current run of top rated scenes –most recently Adam/Johnny. And Ayden/Skyler. And Paul/ Romeo.

5. And I love to see the evolution of guys like Kaden Alexander or Skyler who seem to really begin to get into it and enjoy the gay experience.

6. Finally,i will admit that my ideal gay porn site is one where openly gay guys pair with guys who are newly gay or inexperienced (or straight and want to make money) to learn the ropes (so to speak).

I'm glad you enjoy the "great debate" Silver. I've always said that the forum is dull and boring without any controversy. If the forum becomes all "kiss ass" posts praising the models and the site, then I have no interest.

And I fully agree with you on point #6.

When there is a new update/episode, I look at the stills (photos), then I check out the current rating.
If it is at least a 4, sometimes I watch, then I read the Forum posts to see if I share the common opinion.
If it is less than 4, I read the Forum posts 1st to see why the low score, then if I'm curious enough, I watch the episode.
sometimes, I vote, but very often, I don't unless it's for a fave model.

This episode, I read about it and watched it and I so hard!!!

Actually I'll agree with 95% of your post, with a few stipulations. If Kyle threw himself at me in real life, I probably wouldn't send him packing. lol I think what many people are getting at is that Kyle would be a much better fit on a site like College Dudes. I'm guessing that his scenes could rate higher over there. This could be a case of the right model (for some) being paired with the wrong audience here on a straight fetish site like Broke Straight Boys For those who want to see the straightest acting of models here, it really doesn't matter if Kyle is actually very straight in real life or not. There is also of course a segment of the Broke Straight Boys audience who really don't care if the models are gay or straight, as long as they look good, perform well and put on a good show.

That's not to say that there have never been any successful gay or bi models on Broke Straight Boys-1. We know there have been. At times David was very forthright in telling us as much. (With certain bi/gay models like Porn Shane and Cousin Mikey for instance) And that's not to say that there aren't any successful gay models presently on Broke Straight Boys-2. There has also been the thrill over the years of seeing nominally straight models starting out here doing "gay-for-pay", and then watching the progression as their internal pendulum swung to a more bi or gay side. Logan and Diesal are a couple of quick examples off the top of my head.

At the very least though the audience here is allowed the fantasy of pretending that all the models here are mostly, if not totally, straight. Or that if they are not totally straight now...that they were in the beginning, but reached that point later after experimentation here which we got to witness ourselves. If certain models do not fit into either of these fantasies it's very difficult for them to really catch on in popularity here.

Jesus christ, people. He's only done a solo. Give the kid a break. I, for one, would like to see more from him. And as someone already mentioned, the lines about what makes a straight guy straight and a gay guy gay are beginning to change, especially when you bring up mannerisms. I've seen guys who looked gayer than a three dollar bill who are genuinely straight, and then I've seen gay guys who I mistakenly thought were straight because they "looked" a certain way. I think people here don't realize how blurry the lines are becoming in the real world and they want this site to satisfy the fantasy in their heads while denying the societal change that is happening all around them.
