Kyle Johnson

I am gay and the men who I've had relationships with in my life have been obviously gay too. No one is putting anyone down for not being straight. We are just saying that we are paying a chunk out of our pay checks for this site to see "believably" straight guys, and when all our of our gaydar goes off when we see a model who lacks that believability factor, we notice and are disappointed.

I understand what you're saying but people ARE putting the models down!! No one is going to convince me other wise. You can try to back it up by saying I'm a paying member and all that but people are being plain rude! If you wouldn't say it to the models face don't say it all!! There is a difference of saying someone's not your type or not your favourite or calling someone a "queen" or "awful"

I certainly try very hard to not say anything insulting about a model, except in extreme circumstances, and I hope that I have not said anything offensive to this young man, Kyle.

But you do raise an interesting subject littlemonster, which has been addressed before. When the models post and have access to the forum, it does stifle us from being able to express our thoughts on a scene or especially a particular model. I've always thought of the forum as a way for the fans of Broke Straight Boys to discuss the guys as we are the paying fans and this is our little fan site to praise or criticize what we are seeing.

However your point is valid littlemonster, as we had a very sweet kid named Flint here a few months ago, and he was introduced to us before we ever saw him in a scene and he charmed the pants off the forum. And then when his scenes were released and he received criticism he appeared genuinely hurt by some of the comments, and that was heart breaking.

That is why I try to say nothing if a model does not interest me at all, as with a recent solo, or if I do comment I try to choose my words carefully so as to explain if the model is reading my comments that it is just my personal preference and others may love him. It is a slippery slope when models post and read our comments.

I know that no one is genuinely trying to hurt the people they are criticizing but if you don't watch your words (like in the Flint case) it does hurt people. That's why I'm not telling people what to do, just be careful what you say. I myself have been disappointed in scenes because of the models but I always hold back my opinion, I don't blatantly say I don't find them attractive.

But getting back to this week's solo artist, Kyle Johnson, I don't see this thread as criticizing his looks, but rather questioning his sexuality, which I think is fair game for us to debate. I've never believed that the forum should only be a place to praise the models and the site, as that would be totally boring, but I do agree that we should exercise discretion too, when discussing specific models.

I watched 2 minutes and 26 seconds of this .... turned it off and voted it a one.

I dunno he is kinda cute with a sweet little bod. IDK about the whole straight part - I think the "girlfriend" kind of figured out he was ummm...."going to the casino" if that's what they call it these days :blowjob: LOL!! I think he would be a great bottom for the boys to play with & I'm betting he's a loud one too could be fun!

I also have to chime in. I have zero against gay guys but when a gay guy tries this badly to convince a audience like us that he's straight on a website call Broke Straight Boys I have a problem. I rather have him openly admit he's gay and use that to help the scenes and stop trying to pass of a gay man as straight.

Moved to the correct section.

As for Kyle I agree he does give off those mannerisms. New guys are tough because you never know what you are really getting until they get here. I still can't even say if he is gay, straight or curious. The biggest thing I remember was Kyle was deathly afraid of all animals which was crazy. Our process isn't perfect but we are trying our best to prescreen guys. In my opinion the line of sexuality is really changing. Guys are WAY more open then they were 5 or so years ago. When gay guys come in they are put onto College Dudes The ones on Broke Straight Boys might be curious or whatever like Logan was and then later Logan realized he wasn't completely straight. it is different with each guy. Some come in curious and decide they are definitely straight and some are straight the entire time.

I definitely agree. This is why we put the gay guys on College Dudes but some get here and are super quiet and that is the way Kyle was so we weren't sure and like I said I'm still not sure what he is.

There have been no physically insulting remarks on this thread thus far. The dissing of the scene has all been directed at the site rather than Kyle, who incidentally is a little sweetheart and I repeat put on an excellent show.

The term "you can't have your cake and eat it" comes to mind here. When allegedly genuine straight guys do a solo, they are often called boring because all they do is jack off and do not explore themselves. Cue cries from the forum "this scene was zzzzz boring because all he did was sit down and jack off, why didn't he play with his nipples or finger his hole"

I think Mark has made a valid point when he said it is more difficult to judge a models real sexuality nowadays than it was 5 years ago. Models come to this site to earn money because they are broke, and although it is quite clear that this is Broke Straight Boys, we still have models of all sexual orientation appearing here. Mark can only act on what the model says on his application and interview. Someone called Kyle a nelly and I gather that is probably because of the way he talked. His voice does sound gay to me but it is hard for me because I'm a Brit, but if his accent sounds gay then so does Blake Bennet's but it doesn't mean that he or Blake is.

Regarding models posting on here - well I stated my views, which were similar to Mike's, a long time ago. However, my views were slightly different when I stated that to avoid confrontation then the models should be posting on their part of the site only. But we have to remember that non forum members whether they be models or not can read the forum and also and more importantly there is the Twitter and FB element of the site so everyone has access to these.

Finally a personal message to Kyle. If you're reading these posts don't get too down. There have been many solos that have had bad press but as soon as the guys get down to boy on boy action most of the dissing is forgotten. I love you anyway xx

Appreciate the insight and this has been some very good dialogue. When I posed the question "Curious about the perceived direction the site was going..", I really had not even watched the solo by Kyle. The reason being, solo's don't do much for me. I may watch them at some point, or if I think a model is interesting after a duo scene. I did notice that the model seemed to have more" Estrogen than Testosterone running through his veins" (which is my way of saying more on the feminine side). And for the site, which I too pay my coins each month to view, I only need the" illusion of straight" to be satisfied. I don't expect to be satisfied by every model or episode every single update. For me, it's just another form of entertainment and it's PORN! Hell, I pay way more for my monthly cable and am far less satisfied with, the line up, the service the updates but, every month, I make my 150.00 plus payment.
I love the passion that people share on here in terms of different perspectives about scenes, episodes, models etc.. but sometimes, it's just PORN people! Hopefully, we have other things in our lives to entertain ourselves with. Two phases I hear way too frequently: "...not what I signed up for" "...pay to see." Those both sound like choices to me. Need more be said?

I've been like...ok. Since I've subscribed I haven't been moved to post. I'm that disappointed of this last update.

AMEN!! Agree to the fullest!
