I disagree Jon. I look at
Broke Straight Boys as a temporary or transitory job for a young man, much like working at McDonalds, or helping UPS at Christmas time. I honestly don't see where an employer for a temporary job holds any responsibility for what their workers do after they "punch their timecard" after work.
Of course some models become longer term employees and they become the "stars" of the site for their period of time, (except Jason, who's time here is always.
)
I believed that David developed personal relationships with some of the models, as has Mark. Clay doesn't tell us much at all, but my impression is that Blu Media is good to their workers, and not exploitive in any way. I believe that Mark's hiring of Jimmy for a dramatic role in his Logo series is an example of that.
Unfortunately as I alluded to in my earlier post about a possible correlation between appearing in porn and getting in trouble, the worst possible ending would be what happened to Mike R and Dustin, but I believe that their lives were spiraling out of control which lead to their tragic passing's, not their former careers shooting porn scenes here.
