oha i te whenua o te kapua roa ma ki katoa i te pito o te hau e wha te oha ahau ia me te katoa , me te whakamōhio ahau.

(greeting from the land of the long white cloud to all from the reaches of the four winds I greet each and everyone and introduce myself)

I am not sure what an Introduction should compile in respect to such a diverse forum, however I am now single and presently employed, who has developed a father figure to 2 amazingly adult children who in turned blessed me with 7 beautiful granddaughters. (Child bearing was done as a young age and each child comes from a relationship of hearts rather than conceived) and I blessed at the age of my children now they continue to be the pinnacle zest of my life.

As a school drop out of the earliest age, I think in recent years I have developed a mind to learn and to continually seek inspiration wide and close, from older and younger generations and from a diverse culture in which our world has to offer. I believe that my back yard is as much you as is your back yard is mine. To hold on to information and not share can place stumble blocks in your pathway to grow and that without update the information becomes stale.

I am pretty much an open book to discussion and opinions and if I am not able to answer then I will always seek and resource .

"seeking diversity without judgment without boxing)

Welcome to the Forum, Inspire. At the risk of getting your neighbors to the Northwest here irritated, (IN NO WAY MEANING TO), I have ALWAYS dreamed of travelling to New Zealand, BOTH, I would LOVE to see,(in person), the Southern Alps, as I have done a tour of Europe, which included the Northern Alps., as well the LUSH greenery!

(BTW, is that Maori? language?):"Kia ora nga Aotearoa"

Hey there Inspire, welcome to the forum! I have to agree with you, if you do not share your knowledge, then you hold all of us back. I am reminded of that especially today as Google celebrates the birthday of Jonas Salk; a pioneer medical researcher who developed the polio vaccine yet refused to patent it so that it could be replicated and shared with the world easily.
As far as sharing yourself, we do have a "10 random facts" thread if you would like to give us 10 things about yourself...no such thing as :tmi:

Welcome Inspire, nice to have new people on the forum, especially from a different hemispere!! Your native language is beautiful (maori) I'm guessing. My mothers Native Indian tribe speak "ewksiknii hemkanks" from The Klamath people. Although she speaks it fairly fluent I can't pronounce half of the words haha. Again welcome friend.....

Yes this is Te Reo Maori (Maori Language) and though we are taught to introduce in our mother tongue, I don't speak Te Reo Maori but I understand. I am a product of hegemony, in which many indigenous languages nearly suffered, but our language is slowly reviving and one of my grandchildren is presently schooling in Te Reo Maori. so sometimes I use her as a back up.
