Kelly Clarkson & Pride

Just in time for Pride Month, Kelly Clarkson has a music video out for her new single, "People Like Us". It's a great hi-nrg dance song and is just right for a new Pride 2013 anthem along side our historic Pride anthems.

I saw it on the Advocate.com's current video update today. It's put out by Vevo and I'm sure you can find it on Youtube. If I weren't such a computer luddite, I'd do the linking thing, but I haven't the vaguest idea how.

Clarkson is a great ally on gay rights in general and marriage equality in particular, who took a degree of flak from some in the country music scene for being so outspoken.

It has been a long time since I've bought any music, but I think I'll buy this College Dudes.

I hope you enjoy the song as much as I did.

During early 2009 bush fires wiped out a lot of Victoria resulting in the highest loss of life due to bush fire in Australian history, and Pink donated 250,000 dollars, which at that time was probably closer to 500, 000 US dollars, to the cleanup and rebuilding effort.

I enjoyed her music before her wonderful gift, but now I, and all of Australia, love her as a person too.
