My opinion basically was based off the "ayden/alex" forum. I think Mactee was saying cut the guys slack they can't all be great and cut alex slack. Should we temper our comments on the forum due to concern that the model being criticized may read them, or should we be honest, and use the forum to express our true feelings? This has been a really interesting thread with brand new posters putting forward some strong opinions. Let me start off by saying I love these forums it brightens up my boring days but I'm getting really confused. People tend to change there thought on how a scene should run every time one is released. Some scenes it's alight when they are not fully into it because there straight some scenes they'll get ripped up because they weren't into it. The forum brightens my day too, LM and you're right people do change their minds. I know in the past my perceptions of a scene has occasionally changed after reading comments and then re-watching the scene or viewing a similar scene. But, for the most part I don't think people dramatically change their minds from scene to scene so much as they have very different likes and dislikes and reactions to scenes. Not everyone is going to enjoy every scene and not every scene is going to please everyone...human nature makes it impossible...

It is my experience that there are several different "factions" on this board, all with very different taste, desires, and requirements of what makes a "good" scene to them. To call the forum at large inconsistent is not accurate if you look at who is doing the critiquing. There is no one voice to speak for the whole forum, and I don't see it as we can't make up our mind, for some like one thing and others like something totally different.

Well said MsK. I try to keep my critiques focused on the model or director's performance. There have been a few models who I have not cared for at all. Yet as soon as someone says that that model is fat or ugly for instance then I feel the need to jump to their defense. Because I think personal attacks like that are uncalled for. No actor or model likes to read bad reviews of their work. But we have to be relatively honest in our posts in order to give reliable feedback to mgmt.
