I'm afraid to watch this video. The score of 2.4 isn't helping. I can't believe we still have to put up with jimmy scenes. Why can't management make the logical choice and cut the cord.

I too wish that they would keep the two studios and their models separate. I have watched the free College Dudes previews here, and they do not interest me either.
I couldn't agree with you more. I'm not going anywhere, but I too wish that Broke Straight Boys "goes back to predominantly believably straight guys or at least straight *acting* guys."
That was the way it was when I got hooked on this site with David's collection of guy's that I believed were straight, doing some very non-straight things for our enjoyment.

Youngandconfused22, why don't you speak out your opinions and allow Mark to run his business the way he sees fit? I'm sure he is aware of all factors, opinions, ratings, private messages, and is quite capable of gauging the popularly of models and scenes.
Believe it or not, you do not speak for all membership, just as I certainly don't either. I can only offer my opinion, as you can only offer your own.

You sure put a lot of words in my mouth that I never said. When did I ever once say anything bad about the management. I'm pointing out a very obvious fact that you can't seem to understand. When a model gets such negative ratings and comments its time for him to move on. If I was jimmy and saw all the comments I would take the hint. He's a nice guy and should look to new options in the industry. I love lots of of stuff about Broke Straight Boys

Mikey, the very definition of personal opinion, would make any personal opinion self-absorbed and ego-centric. After all, our personal opinions are about what we, as individuals, think and feel.
I have had a really fun, feisty, and most definitely opinionated night tonight, so I am all for letting Youngandconfused have his own opinions too.
The Broke Straight Boys forum camp, is obviously still VERY divided on Jimmy. He has turned into a very polarizing figure here. It seems to be either love or hate with him...................so how about if those of you that "love" love, and those of us that don't love, don't. And how about if we not get angry at each other for it.
Remember, I have just as much right to tell Mark that he should get rid of Jimmy, as you do to tell Mark that he should put Jimmy in every scene.
Oh wait..............I think I might have asked Mark to put CHAD in every scene.

Thanks ms kianna for stepping in. I was just trying to make a point. Chad in every scene would be awesome. One final thing. I really find it unlikely that the polls are split on jimmy. I have never ever seen a model get such poor ratings. It's a fact not even a opinion.

The point that you are missing is that "the ratings" on these scenes do not necessarily reflect the opinions of all members of this site, and that management has their own ways of determining the popularly of scenes and models.
These are not true ratings, based on the type of factors used to determine the popularly of television shows, or "exit polls" at elections. The ratings we see here are merely a sampling of the minority of the members of the website, who come to talk on the forum, and are inclined to vote on the scenes.
Management has told us many times that the opinions offered on the forum only represent a small percentage of overall membership, and they are not going to make their business decisions here based on a vocal, but relatively small percentage of their fan base.
And I hope you were joking, as was Ms. K about Chad being in every scene as being awesome. That was humor. Believe it or not, every member here does not have the same taste, and sensibilities.

Ahh... the fight begins again. Mike "we" are wasting our time and breath defending Jimmy, they are never going to give the guy a break so why bother. They can continually low ball the ratings all they want so really who cares what they have to say. You watch the interaction between Jimmy and the other models and they seem to like him, the management seems to like him, and you and I like him so that's good enough for me. I give all the guys 5's even if they don't impress me because they do what I won't and for that they at least deserve "respect". Some should remember the door always swings both ways and nobody is forcing anybody to watch Jimmy's videos or be a member.It's called "breach of contract".
I like Jimmy, but I do agree that it's a bad business decision to keep him on a site where his presence in scenes has caused so many people to cancel.
Mike, when you stated you feel only a small portion of people vote on the scenes, that's actually kind of ir-relevant in my opinion. Regardles of the number who vote, it is still a sampling of those who do kind of like the Gallup poll is although the Gallup poll is scientific whereas the voting on scenes is not. But at the end of the day, when you mix a bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough, you're going to get roughly the same number of chococolate chips per tablespoon measurement whether you scoop out a ice cream scoop sample, or a 5 gallon bucket sample. Whether 1% of the people who watch a scene vote on it, or 50%...it's still representative of the overall opinion as to how much the members liked or didn't like a particular scene.
Those of us who discuss scenes in the forum are kind of like the pundits or political analysts God help us, and those who watch and vote on the scenes are like voters who respond to pollers. It's a good snapshot as to what people think.
I really like Jimmy, I think very highly of him and I am saddened at how mean people are to him. I also respect and admire Jimmy for sticking it through, and continuing to work for Broke Straight Boys/Blu Media which cannot be easy for him. But at the end of the day, he is generally not liked by enough of the Broke Straight Boys members that his continued presence is simply not a good business decision for the site in my opinion. He simply has not resonated in a positive way with enough people that he has dragged down the ratings in the scenes he has been in, and annoyed a lot of members.
I assume that Jimmy's continued presence represents the fact that he is under some sort of a contract of exclusivity, but I wouldn't be surprised that if/when that contract expires, we will have seen the last of Jimmy. Of course I have absolutely no personal knowledge of that whatsoever, I'm only assuming.
But I do feel that if Broke Straight Boys feels they have to bring in someone like veteran gay porn star Rob Ryder who has been doing gay porn for years at other studios in order to take the conversation elsewhere, they are getting desperate.
