Actually Betu, I think that yours, Jon's and Beth's definitions of what and who is hot, are much more common than my narrow definition of what turns me on. When I first joined the site, "lo these many years ago", I innocently thought that everyone who joined was looking for the same as me, which was an incorrect assumption.
The very straight appearing and acting models such as MikeR, Jordan, Tank Shane, Jimmy Johnson, Jamie (from early BSB2), and others are often criticized and disliked by many who want the models to "enjoy" gay sex, including passionate make out sessions and total acceptance of both topping and bottoming. But I am also confident that there are hard core fans like me, who want to see very "believably" straight guys who come to BSB as nervous, and reluctant and hesitant to do "gay shit", but are on the set ostensibly only for the money. If not, then I don't think that Mark would have changed directors, as the BSB2 scenes under Clay, had become just formula, stereotypical gay porn with two guys kissing, undressing one another, more kissing and then sucking and fucking, with no hesitance or revealing what was going though their minds.
This is why I am in favor of keeping college dudes as a totally separate site, for models and fans of pretty guys making love, and leaving "broke straight boys" as exactly what the three words mean in their truest sense. To merge the two sites, would totally take all interest out of this site for me.
Oh, to be sure mikeyank! I agree, that is why I like both sites. I actually appreciate the difference in the two. I also felt as you pointed out, that BSB2 started giving us more of a "
College Dudes" feel to the point that, I would not have known the difference had it not been for the "models" and the "set"!
I know that I do enjoy the "look, characteristics, attitude, and persona" of a "guy who is primarily attracted to women" (I think that covers all bases) exploring "sexual satisfaction" with another guy, and finding pleasure in it! Hopefully, that pleasure can be captured by the camera as well as expressed by the participant afterwards.
What interrupts my "viewing pleasure" as it were, is when models follow "scripted, formatted sequential acts" for the sake of a scene/performance, when it may not be part of "what they are "feeling at the time". I enjoy seeing such guys "push the boundaries" but, it needs to have that "natural element" for me!
Certain models; such as Jaxon in my opinion may be "judged on his looks, demeanor" and "past history". I don't question his "attraction" to women at all! Someone like this may not fit the "believably straight" motif in the eyes of some viewers. I rather think "I" would enjoy his performances, with less "judgment" as it were, with...
College Dudes models. One of my favorite
College Dudes models has always been
Cole Gartner He's all the characteristics I described. He's versatile, natural in his performances, great looking, great body.
So, I would also agree with you, keeping the two sites different! Use the models "
more appropriately", or as the term was used ".....a better fit".
One more thing! Since I've been a forum participant, you still have your very unique "straight boy fantasy and types", but...you've actually mellowed a lot in your "acceptance, tolerance, appreciation, for the content! You like what you like, but in a more "laid back sorta way".
