And as always mikeyank, I appreciate and respectfully understand your criteria. In that regard, we will always enjoy our porn differently! But that's perfectly fine, this site still offers up a considerable diverse selection of guys, from past to present. There's probably enough here for everyone of us!
And I appreciate and respect your criteria as well, Betu! :thumbup1:

Johnny how much is 'not much' ? Jaxon has 'been around and around' and with knowledgeable porn fans the truth is out there. Deception can't cover up lazy casting. I have never ever seen a guy from CF on another site and 99% of them are HOT.

Impressive post, Elyot. Bravo!

If people are upset about the hiring of non amateurs, then that's a different conversation. It has nothing to do with how much or how little work Jaxon has done elsewhere. (one site, ten sites, etc.) Either way though I still have not seen anyone from Jaxon himself to anyone from the site lie, deceive, dupe or whatever here.

We've had in the past some models who have done work on other sites and still been very popular. Porn Shane comes to mind.

Look closer, Tampa. This site is Broke Straight Boys; Ryder is hardly straight in any capacity, as his self-confessed past experience has attested. When Broke Straight Boys brings new faces to their staff, I, for one, appreciate someone who is actually new to the gay porn industry in every manner; not one who has performed prior and mildly admits it on here as if admitting it is absolution. When I was a youth in an Indiana state children's home/institution for fifteen years, beginning at age 2, whenever I was facing punishment and I confessed to my transgression, I can assure you said confession hardly spared the rod.

Can you help me out with this? I can't really make out the model in the ad but.... Found this on HSBoys.

I'm not defending him...nor trying to make you attracted to him- ha ha...I'm simply stating that in no way were you "duped" - yes he's done work before (not much) and we did not try to hide that fact -as other companies may do. As far as his sexuality goes...he is both straight and quite broke...you'll have to take my word on that. I think a lot of people questioned his sexuality because he was so comfortable, doing gay acts on camera compared to what you may be used to in "newbies" to the site...as he has already been through that awkward phase.

Hi, Johnny. I really hope I did not upset you. I meant no offence, and if I did, please know I can be quite the horse's patoot more often than not. I am yet most appreciative of all you do for us, and, as you well know, as a producer/director myself, I sincerely appreciate you and your work with the greatest esteem.
Spanks, Johnny.
Cheers.

Hey, Betu: You have my interests piqued. Do you know who that person is, and if so, by all means, do tell. As you already know, this thread is about Ryder, and I, for one, am not even remotely a fan of his (add Thompson and Alexander to this list as well.) I have the suspicion you might tell me one of those models is indeed Ryder. I would not be surprised.
Anyway, I am glad you and I are getting along. (Who are you, and what have you done with Betu?)
Spanks, Betu.
Cheers.
Jack

Hey, Tampa: Do me a favour, if you please, and call me Jack. I only used NobelEgg because that is part of my Yahoo email, and it was the first thing I could think of.
Spanks.
Cheers.

Well Jack, it's actually just an ad for "gay erotic stories" I found on the HSBoys site. I wasn't sure at first glance, but..it's obviously Jaxon's in the photo. I was actually trying to find a shot of his back and tats to compare. It's again, a "picture used in an ad". But, it's been established that Jaxon has done some work before. I would imagine, some of that included photo shoots. :bored: And yes, it's nice to have civility on the forum...

There has been white lies said during initial interviews since this site has begun - it's all part of the Broke Straight Boys fantasy. Jeez, if you believed all that came out of BSB1's David's interview then you surely were an April and the rest of the years fool.

If people expect 100pc truth then I would ask them to ask themselves "when was the last time you said a little white lie in order to impress a future boss in an interview".

BTW Jaxon is gorgeous.

Jon this may "scare you" a little bit butt, we find an attraction in a lot of the same guys, in most cases, they are the more "controversial" ones as far as the " it's all part of the Broke Straight Boys fantasy" goes in particular :scared: Which for me, is why when a model "does" go to say....College Dudes, I find their performances more enjoyable. IMO, they can be who they really are, do what they really feel...if they have some "actual curiosity, or even attraction" for another guy, they don't seem as inhibited. I often read comments of what people would like the guys to do sexually with another guy, but want that "straight boy fantasy" realized at the same time. Beth's comment recently: "I'd say, if it ain't in ya to begin with...doesn't matter how much cock you suck and fuck!" was "SPOT" on! But for me, by the same token, why waste "natural talent" by keeping a model "inhibited"? Anyone who's viewed College Dudes should also realize, there are "straight" models there as well.

Actually Betu, I think that yours, Jon's and Beth's definitions of what and who is hot, are much more common than my narrow definition of what turns me on. When I first joined the site, "lo these many years ago", I innocently thought that everyone who joined was looking for the same as me, which was an incorrect assumption.

The very straight appearing and acting models such as MikeR, Jordan, Tank Shane, Jimmy Johnson, Jamie (from early BSB2), and others are often criticized and disliked by many who want the models to "enjoy" gay sex, including passionate make out sessions and total acceptance of both topping and bottoming. But I am also confident that there are hard core fans like me, who want to see very "believably" straight guys who come to Broke Straight Boys as nervous, and reluctant and hesitant to do "gay shit", but are on the set ostensibly only for the money. If not, then I don't think that Mark would have changed directors, as the BSB2 scenes under Clay, had become just formula, stereotypical gay porn with two guys kissing, undressing one another, more kissing and then sucking and fucking, with no hesitance or revealing what was going though their minds.

This is why I am in favor of keeping College Dudes as a totally separate site, for models and fans of pretty guys making love, and leaving "Broke Straight Boys" as exactly what the three words mean in their truest sense. To merge the two sites, would totally take all interest out of this site for me.

What I have noticed since I got back and possibly to do with the new producer, is that there is more kissing. However, kissing is only meaningful to me if it is real and not part of an act, because if it is then they may has well not bother. I also agree with Mike's last paragraph about the two sites being kept separated. My only regret is that I did not take up the special offer I was offered when I signed up for this site again.

Would that have anything to do with the fact that he is uncut and has an edgy look that could almost pass for British? haha

Oh Tampa are you implying that I am racist and only go for British guys lol. But if for instance Matthew Keading came across my path then I would certainly offer more than the odd glance. ha ha

Matthew who? haha

:postpics:

Actually I figured with you being European that you had a preference for uncut guys. So I had to smile when you identified yourself as a Jaxon fan. haha

I agree with you Jon about the kissing. If it will really advance the scene and looks genuine, then by all means include it. But if it looks fake, forced or gratuitously thrown in at the wrong time, then no.

Oh, to be sure mikeyank! I agree, that is why I like both sites. I actually appreciate the difference in the two. I also felt as you pointed out, that BSB2 started giving us more of a "College Dudes" feel to the point that, I would not have known the difference had it not been for the "models" and the "set"!

I know that I do enjoy the "look, characteristics, attitude, and persona" of a "guy who is primarily attracted to women" (I think that covers all bases) exploring "sexual satisfaction" with another guy, and finding pleasure in it! Hopefully, that pleasure can be captured by the camera as well as expressed by the participant afterwards.

What interrupts my "viewing pleasure" as it were, is when models follow "scripted, formatted sequential acts" for the sake of a scene/performance, when it may not be part of "what they are "feeling at the time". I enjoy seeing such guys "push the boundaries" but, it needs to have that "natural element" for me!

Certain models; such as Jaxon in my opinion may be "judged on his looks, demeanor" and "past history". I don't question his "attraction" to women at all! Someone like this may not fit the "believably straight" motif in the eyes of some viewers. I rather think "I" would enjoy his performances, with less "judgment" as it were, with...College Dudes models. One of my favorite College Dudes models has always been Cole Gartner He's all the characteristics I described. He's versatile, natural in his performances, great looking, great body.

So, I would also agree with you, keeping the two sites different! Use the models "more appropriately", or as the term was used ".....a better fit".

One more thing! Since I've been a forum participant, you still have your very unique "straight boy fantasy and types", but...you've actually mellowed a lot in your "acceptance, tolerance, appreciation, for the content! You like what you like, but in a more "laid back sorta way".

I take that as a complement, Betu as I'm sure you intended it. You are correct that my taste has not changed, but it would be pointless for me to offer a negative review on every model and every scene that does not give me the "straight vibe" that I am looking for, because if that were the case, people would rightfully be telling me to quit the site altogether, which I do not intend to do, for I enjoy the forum, and exchanging thoughts with my "forum family" here. And I still hold out hope that Johnny the director will be offering more scenes with the "classic Broke Straight Boys" vibe that turns me on.

While I do lousy impressions, I was under such an impression where everything on here is 'acting.' The models are to 'act' gay before the camera, even though we all know beyond all question and doubt not one is truly gay. The models are to 'act' as if they care about each other, even though we all know they are only in it for themselves as individuals. The entire motif behind this site is entertainment, and I have learned to refrain from expecting realism in any scene. It is akin to any movie, where this actor (except Tom Cruise) will play this part/role in this film, and return in another playing (and that is the keyword, playing) an entirely different part/role in another. (Tom Cruise plays the exact same person in all his roles; only his name and character changes, which is why he sucks as an actor. There is nothing new he can bring to a performance.) The models on this site do what they can to please their fans and the entire subscriber base, all through acting. And the qualities of an incredible actor are more often than not induced and enhanced by an exceptional producer/director. Johnny is such a producer/director. We have all seen him come far with Broke Straight Boys, and he has listened to us, as evidenced by the quality productions he creates via the models' 'acting' their best. It is what I personally have come to expect from Broke Straight Boys, and I am not displeased; otherwise, I would have ceased my subscription long ago.

Re your 'racist' comment, I chuckled at that one. I do not think being British is a race as much as it is a unique culture. However, if being pro- or anti-British is indeed racial, then I am likewise racial, as I am ever pro-British. Hail Britannia, Britannia o'er the waves!

Spanks for your time and attention.
Cheers.
Jack
