Well i liked him. He has the body type and the straight boy look that I love. Well I will agree in terms of a solo it was very boring and I do wish that the boys would do more that just lie there and jerk off. I had a full day of traveling and as soon as i got there i had to do my interview and solo. I was super tired and it was my very first time doing anything like this in front of people and a camera, but i can promise you next time i will perform alot better.

I've been looking forward to your debut for a while. You really do come across as a genuine and straight boy-next-door kind of man who's just trying to make ends meet. And indeed that's what this site is supposed to be all about. The kink and fetish of the site, as it were, is watching primarily straight guys experiment with gay for pay sex. You had a good solo vid. The choreography could have been better in offering more positions for you to move around the room a bit, like from the chair to sofa to the bed and so on. But that's not your call. It's up to the director to add some variety to a solo jerkoff scene. Among us members, the solo scenes tend to be our least favorite. lol Your solo got a higher rating than normal. So you can be happy about that.

Many of us promised Tyler on another thread that we would be kind and polite with you in reviewing and critiquing your work. lol He already did some cheerleading for you before you officially arrived. So you can thank him for that. In keeping with that promise, anything I might suggest I hope you will take as constructive advice that will hopefully be of help to you.

Here are some things I would recommend to you on the likely assumption that your next videos will go well and we will have the pleasure of seeing you back here again for more scenes later on. I like the way you trimmed your pubes, shaved your balls and kept a tidy but still manly appearance down below. Please remember that being filmed with state of the art HD cameras is much sharper in focus and clarity than typical webcam devices. The real tight closeups of the face with professional grade HD cameras for instance can be rather harsh and are more honest than any model or actor would care for at times. lol

Some of the best looking guys can still look a little scruffy on HD cameras if they are jet lagged and tired. If they haven't combed their hair very well or they have 5 o'clock shadow for instance, all of that will show up. It may not seem fair. But it's true. haha Models on this site are not held to a standard of being mistaken for runway fashion models. They're not expected to look like they've just been to a spa where they've had facials and makeup applied so they are all "metrosexual" looking and ready for their cover on GQ magazine. lol

A couple bits of advice I would offer you is to try to "tame" the hair as you said earlier. lol Like Beth, I do enjoy curly hair on a guy once in a while. Chances are that you couldn't iron it all flat even if you wanted to. lol But yes. Combing it out a bit more in future scenes, after your interview and solo vids, will make you look even more handsome on camera. The other bit of advice I would offer you is to consider shaving the few stray eyebrow hairs above the nose. A tiny dollop of shaving cream and a typical razor will do the trick quite nicely and quickly. Since it can be tricky to do in front of a mirror, you might even ask your girlfriend to do it for you. And if the eyebrows themselves get bushy in between haircuts, then a comb and a pair of scissors will also work well. Video work by its very definition is very much a visual medium. So anything one can do to tighten up one's appearance is a plus.

As Sha alluded to in your solo scene, I'm hoping there is some mild fetish of yours that they might be able to incorporate into some of your scenes. If it would help turn you on a little bit more, I'm guessing it would be hotter for viewers to watch also. lol They may not be able to go too far into the deep end of all your fetishes because they have to appeal to more of a commercial audience. I do think it's hot though that you are a bit of a perv with bunches of kinks and fetishes. Let your freak flag fly. Right? haha

I am sorry that you are having so many struggles in your life right now. It's my hope that the video work you do here and the money you earn, will only help to make your life easier and better going forward. You and your girlfriend will be in my thoughts and prayers. There are few problems in life that can't be made at least a little bit more tolerable with some more cash coming in. Given the reaction to my earlier post I can see that it failed to come across to other members at least, in the way in which I intended it. If it caused you any duress at all James, I most sincerely apologize. If other members were offended by it, then I apologize to them also. The written word does have its limitations when there is no voice inflection, facial expressions or body language to back it up. Just as text messages can be notoriously ineffective at communicating humor, sarcasm, sincerity, deep concern, etc...the same can be true of posts on a message board. If I couldn't make sure that some of my comments came across more closely to their intended interpretation, then I shouldn't have posted them at all. And that's my fault. I own up to it and I apologize.

I didn't mention it earlier but I gave your solo scene a 4. For you personally as a model I also gave you a rating of 4 for your work in the solo scene, as well as the introductory video. Usually solo videos get much lower overall ratings than the current 4 that yours currently sits at. So obviously many members (myself included) feel that you and your work are well above average. It's not unusual for the first solo videos of future great Broke Straight Boys models (who go on to stardom here on this site and even in the industry at large) to get ratings of high 2's or low 3's. So you're off to a very good start here James. Well done! We are lucky to have you here and look forward to seeing more of you.

I've been worried about it all day. I would never want to offend you or hurt your feelings in any way. I've had a fair share of not so great news in my personal life within the last 48 hours. How you would take my post has been just one more thing weighing me down today. You ended up being the one to give me the Valentine's Day gift just by clearing the air with your post above. Thank you!!!

As you can surmise from reading some of the earlier posts, there are some perfectly wonderful people in here who were ready to come to your defense if you had taken my post as offensive. That means they like you. As do I of course. haha

I don't know if you're old enough to remember the show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." But the premise of the show was a straight guy who would ask a group of gay men to visit him and give him advice on how to be the most attractive as possible to the opposite sex. He'd get advice on everything from how to decorate his home, to detailed personal grooming tips. They would give him all kinds of feedback on how he could maximize all of the best features God have him, to not only make him more attractive to women but even improve his self-esteem. When they did it on the show they had the benefit of being there in person, having a soothing tone of voice, using eye contact and being able to convey any tips or feedback in the most non-threatening way as possible. Plus they had the benefit of the fact that the guy had actually asked them to come in and give him advice on how to up his game.

When one tries to do it in print only and the advice is unsolicited...well that's a more dicey proposition. lol No matter how well-intentioned it may be, it still leaves plenty of room for error and miscommunication. I'm so relieved that you took my post in the "trying to offer helpful advice and positive feedback" spirit for which it was intended. As you can see, the feedback on you and your work has been very positive on the whole. You're on the right track.
