I might have shot myself in the foot by reading this thread before I saw the update, because I spent the entire time cringing. I didnt enjoy this shoot at all, and that pretty much never happens. I am going to give props to the new model, although not my cup of tea, he seems to have a lot of promise.

Just went back to see it again, and download it for continuous viewing, and was blown away by the subtle expressions of intimacy that Jake was showing Tyler. While sitting in their undies Jake placed his right hand on Tyler’s leg and patted it in a close friendship way. If you just view it again and pay very close attention to all of Jake’s expressions of love and the numerous times the way he would look at Tyler as if he was saying “hey dude, I’m here, let’s love each other” only to be spun. Don’t want to dump on Tyler too much because I have always enjoyed him, but this time he deserves the dumping I’m afraid. Can you just imagine what a scene would be with Jimmy Slater or Damien or WOW all three? I think I just lost my breath. Can’t wait David for more shoots beyond Nu!!

My review & comments on the comments

I had read through this thread before watching the scene, and have now watched it. I enjoyed Tyler a lot more than the majority of members who offered their opinions of this scene. First, I was very curious to see Tyler, as David told us several months ago that Tyler has been working out, and I was curious to see Tyler's "new" body. Well, actually his new body is very similar to his old body, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I actually prefer thin, toned, hard bodies like Tyler now possesses, over worked out, bulging muscle boys.

I think that Tyler typifies the Broke Straight Boys type of body. I see previews and short clips of guys from other sites, who have the bulging muscles and appear to be part of the steroid generation of body builders. I like the way Tyler looks just fine. It is important for him to work out now, as I have known many lads who were thin and toned in their teens and early twenties, but then as they mature, and their body changes, develop a belly and lose their good looks. I believe that the gym has enabled Tyler to maintain his youthful, hot body as he is going thorough his early twenties.

I didn't think that Tyler was necessarily bored, or in any way arrogant during the shoot. Remember he works with David every day in the office, and the two have developed a rapport that workers develop. It is obvious that David has great affection and respect for Tyler, and I feel like we were privy to the back and forth sarcasm and "goofing" that friends express to each other. I really enjoyed the back and forth banter between the two, including David's comment about wanting to finish this shoot, so he could get something to eat, because he is hungry, as his diet pills have worn off. I love David's self deprecating sense of humor.

And when David gave a shout out to SlimVintage while Jake was sucking his cock was fun, and Tyler's response about "enabling them" was quite humorous. Tyler has a sarcastic, dry sense of humor, and I'm sure he was in no way trying to insult Slim, or any of us who "gush" with affection for Tyler on the forum and in PM's to him. He was just "Tyler being Tyler", and having some fun with the situation. I also liked the banter when David said that Tyler likes to shoot his cum in a guy's mouth, and Tyler corrected him by reminding him that he shot his cum in a glass and the other kid drank it. By the way, that is one of my favorite Broke Straight Boys scenes of all time.

I really think many of the forumites are givng Tyler unfair grief over the Dustin comments. As parisnoyd said, "I'm quite certain this vid was shot prior to Dustin's demise. I believe David said he's been filming HD for 6 months or more, and this is one of the first. "

When David asked who Tyler had kissed, he didn't want to mention his name as he said the members call him "wastebin" or "trashbin". As I recall many of the members were calling him "Dustbin". As tragic as Dustin/Andrew's death was, let us not be "revisionist historians" here. If anyone wants to go back to the forum, you will find that Dustin was pretty much universally disliked by the commenters on the forum, for his attitude and his deteriorating physical appearance in his latter scenes on Broke Straight Boys

When David told us that Dustin was no longer working for Blu/Media, there were very few objections. No one wanted to see anything bad happen to Dustin, but he was not liked and folks were more bored with his last number of scenes, than they were with CJ, during the last days of non HD. It is part of American culture today to build someone up, and then take joy in knocking them down, and sometimes then rally around the underdog and want to build them up again. It happens in entertainment and sports and politics too.

Jake is cute, but as qwerty30 said, "..he's boring and reminds me of gay Zack..but Zack has some personality and is better looking". I don't go that far, but Jake is not my "cup of tea" either. He is a little "too cute" as he mugs for the camera, and does not give me the "straight boy vibe" that I look for in new model's on this site. Tyler definitely had it when he first appeared here, and worked his way to his experimentation and eventually admitting his new bisexuality. I want to see more of Jake with other models, but would prefer to see a masculine straight type boy fuck his mouth, and make him moan as the straight boy fuck's him hard.

However, I am not looking forward to the upcoming update on Monday, as Nu is not a guy I enjoy watching. I believe that Slim had commented a while back, that Nu appears older than he claims to be. I am not a fan of his weather beaten "aging surfer" type face. I consider Nu a phony with his big white smile and smug attitude, and think he is too much like Jake and neither one is a turn on to me.

Wow, I'm exhausted from writing this much, but I had a lot to say after reading the negative comments regarding Tyler, and then watching the scene for myself.

Tyler was so obviously referring to that film when the kissing subject was mentioned but how convenient for him to forget the 4 way on Boy Gusher which had him intensly kissing at least 2 of the other guys. i have to agree with Mike and i think it was me that originally tagged Dustin as Dustbin after most of us on the forum had expressed that we were pissed off with is arrogance etc however, this was before Dustin's tragic death and we all rallied around and sent our support when we heard about it.

But this thread is about todays film and I felt sorry for Jake on what could really have been a very intense film but because of Tyler's rebuff became a boring jack off on the futon.

I hope NU treats Jake with a bit more respect than Tyler did. End of.

Tyler wasn't being disrespectful to the deceased Andrew. He was just joining in with you and me, and most everyone else on the forum, who had "had it" at that point in time with "Dustbin". Yes i thought about what Paris said but without this being confirmed by David or the team we will never know. Irrespect of whether or not this was prior or after Dustin RIP, the fact is that Tyler still "forgot" to mention the 4 way Boy Gusher scene which I and Denny mentioned earlier.

Considering the amount of attention this thread has gotten thus far today, I'm quite surprised why we have not had any top echelon intervention.

Guess I should throw in my thoughts. This scene would/could have been so much better had the Sainted One, David, not fawned over Tyler. He, David, has a history of this with Logan, Diesal and others. Despite that, Jake was raring to go yet never was allowed to just be himself. Did you see his eyes when David told Tyler to stop sucking Jake's cock and jerk him instead? Over "directing" made this much less enjoyable for us as well as Jake. And, must agree with others, Tyler was disappointing. Should stop there. Look forward to Jake and Nu also.

Well... after reading the thread first I was prepared for worse. Having seen it, I think that Jake did very well. And I appreciated his eagerness to please his audience. I hope to see more of Jake in upcoming shoots.

I think Tyler uses the dislike for kissing line when there's a model with whom he's paired that he doesn't feel chemistry. I would suppose this is a kinder thing than to say,"uh, I don't want to kiss you". I would rather he just said it depends on the person and leave it at that. Otherwise, he comes off as having no credibility, esp when we've seen him kissing before, passionately.

I am not one to comment on the forums, preferring usually to be more of a fly on the wall. I thought I would attempt reply to this one because a thought has occurred to me. Perhaps we are beginning to see a natural evolution of Tyler moving into gay porn acting retirement with the bright eyed and horny Jake coming in as his replacement. I definitely saw that spark in Jake's eye and my thought was that if Tyler would have been more passionate that would have been a hott hott hott scene.

Perhaps Tyler wants to move behind the camera permanently but he is too loved and requested by the members so because of that something has to happen to lessen him in the eyes of his loyal fans?

I am kind of a conspiracy theorist so I don't mean to plant a seed of corruption or something but I can't help but wonder about it.
