Hey Slim,
You're quite right that there are exceptions where people
can make a living doing porn. But they have to be with well established studios with deep pockets. They (Bel Ami) still employ Dano Sulak (SP?) as a cameraman and mentor to the younger models. In any case the number of porn models who find fame and fortune in the business are few and far between. Every once in a while though there are those special few who successfully make the crossover to mainstream modeling and acting.
I'm reminded of the poor guy who wrote us a while back saying he wanted in the business because he heard that straight guys doing gay porn could make $30,000 a month. Somewhere down the sunny yellow brick road of porn is another detour boulevard of broken dreams. Best if the majority of models plan on porn as a temporary side job to get them some cash in order to pursue other long term goals. As well as just to explore their sexuality and give their kinky exhibitionist side free reign for a little while. Nothing wrong with that! LOL
Thank goodness that's what you did. While the world was cheated of a budding young porn star in the making, it gained a great teacher and world citizen. Even though you're still irresistible, the world of porn wasn't big enough for your dreams. We're blessed to have you with us and so is Palma.
