tampa, I defer to your expertise and greater insight, but I know that on Bel Ami some of the boys from 2000, 18 at that time, were still making hot movies last year. The good ones are moved up to tutorial rank, and are in charge of breaking in the new recruits.

They burn out if they whore their asses around, obviously, the way Anthony apparently has, but if they work for an established studio, that makes movies, it seems to be a different story. Similar in some ways to the star system in mainstream film? Kids from the Brat Pack, now gray, are still at it.

I was in a 22 minute black and white art film when I was 20, and I'm still irresistible. The fact that I haven't been in anything more than TV ads since then doesn't take away the fact that I'm talented and attractive. It's just been a case of other pursuits taking precedence. It's all about me.

You're quite right that there are exceptions where people can make a living doing porn. But they have to be with well established studios with deep pockets. Best if the majority of models plan on porn as a temporary side job to get them some cash in order to pursue other long term goals. In case anyone is interested Sylvester Stalone actually started out doing porn. I don't think he ever did gay porn but he did do porn in the beginning of his career.
