Is Johnny Forza Gone? =(

As you can see from my avatar I like Johnny a lot BUT he hasn't been happy doing his stuff. I looked at the previews at his other place now and he's the same ,not smiling as he was when he first got here. He's not enthusiastic at all . If that's his best then he should do what he likes. He's a good guy and deserves to be happy.

Understood Joey, but keep in mind that gay porn is a job for Johnny, and how many of us are truly happy with our jobs. I am happy for him if he is earning a good living, which will give him an opportunity to do what he really likes in his life, which is actually the same situation for all of us with our employment. If we enjoy our jobs, that is a big plus, but most folks I know, (myself included) perform our jobs to earn a pay check.

I'm sorry to hear that Johnny doesn't seem to be happy over there. He has so much potential in life that of course I wish him all the best. :)

Agreed, gay porn is just a job for the lucky ones, even though there are countless others out there who would love a piece of the pie, but feel they are of lesser quality than those who appear on this site and others of its ilk. Along this same line, there are those who have no business on this site or any others of its ilk. Johnny Forza was not one who lacked looks; he exhibited a willingness to give his all to his fan base, but in time, he came to realize enough is enough. It is the same as when dogs pass - they know in advance their life is ended, and so they venture off to where they can die alone so their owners would not have to suffer more grief than they shall. I commend any model who knows when to back away with grace and dignity. I am sickened, however, by those on here who plan to make a lifetime occupation of this, ignoring how time has betrayed them as it does us all, and how their looks have faded into oblivion while age catches up with them. Goodbye, Johnny, and thanks for the memories. Shame you could not have taken a couple more with you. If only your last video could have been a swan song for another whose prime has long since severed him from the idyllic aura that has long since abandoned him.

joey.jpgFor those of you who have wondered about the life of a gay porn star, I have a suggestion..... Read, "Wonder Bread and Ecstacy The Life And Death Of Joey Stefano" Joey was the first bottom to be a big star in gay porn. Yes it was back in the 80s and 90s but it was what happened to him. Joey died in 1994. I always loved Joey and really enjoyed the book.

Thanks, Erik, but some of us do not have to read such things; we have lived them through family. My godson was a porn actor, and after he repeatedly refused to heed my advice to get out of the business, he was stabbed and killed by someone he trusted. I knew him since he was born, which is why I called him Pup. Nothing has been the same without him, I can promise you this. But thank you for your input for those who have not personally lived it.

I really enjoyed Joey's work also Erik. So many of those in the 80's especially who hoped to make a career out of the business ended up with AIDS or other untimely ends. Not many stars made it out of that era alive.

A couple of years before I retired, I had a student in class who was somewhat of an exhibitionist and openly flaunted that he wanted to do porn, When questioned, his reason for doing so was to have sex with buxomy, volumtious women and get paid for it, I guess he did do a short stint at it, according to his class mates when I saw them at their 5 year reunion(I was class sponsor) but that he didn't last and now has drifted into the realm of long lost- a few of his close friends said that the porn deal led him into serious problems with the law over prostituition, drugs, and theft of a john's possessions. Many young kids do not realize the down side of the industry. One book that details the need for vigor in performing before cameras is "The Milking Farm". And another which details how the porn industry works and causes problems is "Hindsight: True Love and Mischief in the Golden Age Of Porn" - a semi-autobiography by Howie Gorden , a rather famous porn star who made Playgirl's man of the year sometime back. He does also list some of the problems in working in porn. I hope Johnny Forza is not doing this simply for getting money as Mikeyank so clearly states as being a "job". Although not one of Johnny's fan, I to wish him well.I just hope Blake is also not one of the Broke Straight Boys models who has left! I eagerly await Ian Dempseys interview to be aired Jan. 11th to hear his take on doing porn!

Exactly what I was thinking about Johnny. How long more can he keep making money on it. He's a smart guy and deserves a career that can get him to retirement. I like the idea that Broke Straight Boys is a basically part time job and he can go on with other things. Hope he gets to see that soon.

I don't know which came first, "the chicken or the egg", but guys who sell their bodies for money, be it in prostitution or in porn can have tragic endings, including the two that long time Broke Straight Boys fans are so aware of, the late Dustin and Mike Robbins. My personal belief is that guys who decide to enter the porn industry often have issues in their lives that lead them into this type of work.

At one point when Clay was posting on the forum, he told us of the large number of models who he filmed for this site that were either on parole or had served jail sentences in the past. Of course there are many exceptions, but it is a generalization that does have validity based on statistics.

I used to vacation in Fort Lauderdale twice a year for over fifteen years, and would pick up street guys who came to Florida for fun, and discovered that they could earn cash by selling their bodies to older gay men. I was always amazed at the similar stories that so many told me over the years, about moving out of home to seek adventure, and about their bad home lives, dropping out of school, not getting along with their folks. These guys would do whatever they needed to, to make some money, including selling drugs, or their bodies.

Just as I wish Broke Straight Boys models good futures after their porn careers, I also hope that many of these street kids that I met thirty years ago, settled down, found themselves and are living happy productive lives today, but I also worry that many have not.

It was so good when Sha ran into Logan at Market Days in Chicago a few years ago, and he looked so healthy and told us that he was about to become a medical doctor. I was also happy that Tyler went to work for David at D&E before leaving, and that Chad worked for Mark and BluMedia.

From watching the BTS and reading their posts on the forum, I feel confident that Blake, Jason and Ian to mention three have a good head on their shoulders and they will not be "sucked into" the lives that others found themselves in.

I wish Johnny Forza all the luck in the world, but I feel that he would make himself a better person to find a "real" job and get out of the porn industry, before it is too late.

Tampa, you are most kind. Up until recently, I hardly deserved such a kind word. All I can say is Pup was a terrific man, and he yet lives in my heart. Thank you for being kind. Somehow I sense this a normal characteristic you possess and freely exercise. Most commendable. In pace requiescat, Pup. You are loved.

Well stated, Mark. Mr. Johnny Forza, I do not know you, nor do I have the desire, as you probably have enough on your plate. Still, know my best wishes accompany you throughout the rest of your life. You have kissed enough ass on Broke Straight Boys; now, go out there and kick some.

I also messaged Gardenboy about Ian's interview. If you missed it on YouTube, here it is:

I am totally amazed by many a subscriber on this site. Save for a couple of models, this site is beyond doubt the best of its ilk. The primary concern I have noticed in comments in these forums and on the scene pages as of late pertain to the cameraman's undesired chatter, rudeness, indifference toward Broke Straight Boys's clientele, and his hand disrupting the scene. Commenters persistently say they prefer watching the action over the apparent chit-chat. I can understand this, but what I cannot understand is why so many change their tunes by listening to such personal interviews as that with Ian Dempsey. Many have also voiced complaints about Ian's being in many recent videos. Me personally, if I wanted to hear someone chat, I would turn on ELLEN. Chatting is not what interests me on Broke Straight Boys, nor is it the reason I am a subscriber. I am not a huge fan of Mr. Dempsey, but I do respect him, even though I think it is time to put his gay porn modeling out to pasture. Less chat, more action.

Mark, kindly forward our gratitude to Mr. Johnny Forza.
