... IF, BSB2 was suppose to be an upgrade from BSB1, as I see it, BSB1 was better.

David's BSB1 was better in the sense that in every single episode I remain CURIOUS and OFTEN excited to
see what the model is all about and what he is WILLING to do for cash and how well he'll do it. - EVEN if the model is NOT MY TYPE.
The set in BSB1 is by all means crude/simple but I don't notice it because I AM ENGAGED with the SCENE.

So, I suppose, what I am not pleased about BSB2 is the DIRECTORIAL quality.
The director's ABILITY to create a scene that will make the audience CARE about the model.
His CREATIVITY to make a HESITANT "straight"boy look HOT and SEXY sucking cock or getting fucked.


Yes, David was the sole director @ BSB1 and he managed to keep it FRESH for the MOST part for a long time.
But BSB2 is CONSISTENTLY- INCONSISTENT. -Sometimes CLAY makes a HIT but lately a LOT of MISSES.

You will notice that in television, the successful series' have DIFFERENT directors for each episode.
It keeps the series consistent by having a fresh eye behind the camera.
... From GLEE, to GIRLS.
... From The BORGIAs to MODERN FAMILY, etc.etc.

The aspect of BSB2 that I am most displeased with is the lack of believably straight guys, and the lack of a feeling of a connection between the director, the models and the audience. I miss the sense of believing that I got to "know" the guys as I did with most of the BSB1 models, under David's often clumsy, but to my way of thinking very effective direction.

I agree with everything you said but the problem is if they did do straight boys having m2m sex for money, members complain about no kissing and passion. The highest scenes on BSB2 all have kissing and you would not think they were straight from them. I do agree that the quality is more miss lately than hit and I can't recall skipping or fast forwarding through most scenes in Broke Straight Boys 1 as 2. I don't think it is anything wrong but I think they should let them know what is expected in the scene and let them go the best scenes don't have any direction from the director.

You guys are indeed preaching to the choir here. Great points Mikey. Your questions alone AsIseeIt speak volumes about the many things that seem amiss lately. I'm not going to pile on here because I still love the site, the staff, the models and all of the potential that this site has. I just don't feel the quality of the porn videos are living up to that potential lately. And that both frustrates and saddens me.

For me that is an automatic buzz kill. I realize that for some people it is a turn on and that is fine. Also do we remember that David kept up insane , boring chatter for at least half the scene before anyone got down to any kind of action. I don't know about you , but that drove me up the wall

Also from watching the out takes with Johnny, Brandon, Blake, and even Adam and Johnny underwater, just what these guys have to go through to film an episode. I respect the end product even when it wasn't what I would have given a high score. I think that a great deal of the feed back from subscribers is taken into consideration and changes are made. If it gets too editorial, I don't think the models would be able to do what comes naturally sometimes just trying to please everyone. Not every model can both, "act and direct" a scene like Jason M. (And I say this with the utmost respect.) I watched a clip of a model Evan Mercy, who was doing a scene with his real life buddy, Michael. They were no doubt straight and Even said in the ad clip "I'm going to make love to him."" I feel that if your going to do something, you might as well be the best at it." It would be perfect if every model had this attitude wouldn't it? This clip was from an older "BaitBuddy's". I never got all of the extra's, updates, variety or interaction from any other site. I am one who think they are not getting what we pay for. Videos have been crappy, and just not goo to watch. I have to say I am the biggest Johnny Forza fan, however his videos habe not been up to par. The BTS Outtakes are not even outtakes, they are just down time and pool time, and interviews. Sorry everyone, yes I am incredibly busy with things. I do physical therapy 3 times a week for 2 hours to try to get walking again, swimming and working out to keep my body in shape so I don't injure myself on crutches. All that along with trying to run BluMedia and doing a TV show I pretty much have no life. I can't remember having a day off in so long. My life is basically making Broke Straight Boys the best and doing a TV show which will greatly help BluMedia in ways I couldn't of dreamed of. I'm incredibly busy and I am sorry I can't always respond right away. Regardless I watch the board every single day and read posts.

At this point it is very hard to determine what you guys want. Broke Straight Boys 2.0 started with the director being fun with the guys and did it like David did and you guys weren't happy. We made some changes and did a report on this year and scenes were rated higher than they normally are. So the majority of members like what we are doing. As some members stated there was unhappy members with Broke Straight Boys 1.0 as well. We do test scenes to change things up and they get horrible ratings so we go by what you guys are rating high and what the majority of members are viewing. We are working super hard on everything. I now have a full technical team now working their asses off everyday to make Broke Straight Boys better. A lot of our guys are straight and yes some people will fight me to the death on that. Some guys come here curious and then realize they are straight and some come here and realize they are bi or whatever. I personally like when we convince the guys with money like we did in 1.0 but this type of scene just doesn't get good ratings.

As for new bonus sites I really wanted to add some new ones but that would basically mean starting up a new site which is incredibly expensive and tough these days. Free porn with illegal videos has made the entire business structure change. Music and movie companies have been unsuccessful at combating their content on these sites. We can only control it and that's it and we have several companies helping us with that. So if you see a full length Broke Straight Boys video anywhere besides here please let us know.

We have an incredible team working so hard every single day to make Broke Straight Boys the best. I'm sorry for those who are unhappy with things. Here at Denver pride we met a guy from China who's a member and loves Broke Straight Boys so much he has to go through several proxy servers to access our sites. So that makes me think wow he loves the site so much he is willing to go through all that trouble to access it. We can't make everyone happy but we have always tried to take everyones comments and suggestions. Just keep in mind the majority of members never post or rate anything so it is very hard to determine what everyone wants. We are also the only site where you can even voice your opinion and chat with the models. I will read every comment and suggestion on here and I'm sure we will have several meetings about all this. I do appreciate everyone being a member and thanks for your patience.

I'm sure it would be much easier if every member was of the same mind as to what they wanted. Much of the advice from members is contradictory. In mgmt I'm sure you just have to try to figure out what will appeal to most members. Sometimes you'll strike the right balance and other times no.

The fact that I know you read just about everything on here in regards to feedback on the site gives me a lot of satisfaction as a customer. I know that over the last 5 years you rarely ever go more than 24 hours, tops without logging in to read the latest in here. Even times when my opinions might be in the minority and my advice goes unheeded, I still appreciate that someone in mgmt is listening.

I also hope you and others in your staff realize that whether we are passionately praising a scene or passionately critiquing its perceived flaws, that it all shows how much we care. It's rather difficult to be passionate about something for which you have no interest or investment. lol The most passionate among us share your desire to see the site become as successful as possible.

Mark, I too wish you well in your health and also appreciate that there are only 24 hours in a day and believe it or not, you should have a work/life balance. Two months ago, a few things happened on the site that I didn't like and I seriously thought about leaving. After some private consultation/conversations with some friends on here, they convinced me to stay for a while to see how things have panned out.

Although times are hard in this great big wide world of ours, when I sit back and realise what I get for my subscription fee, compared with what I would get on another porn site, then I do realise that we are getting a good deal here. I pay around £13 a month for Broke Straight Boys here in the uk and I think that is a great deal. I spend more than that on lunch and refreshments at work per day and if I go out for a beer or a drive then the money soon clocks up.

So basically, when you put all the things that this site offers in the shopping basket, we all get an excellent deal. However, the quality of the main films is a bit sinusoidal, so if this could be levelled out then it would make things better.

I certainly understand health issues and the need for time to you need to heal. I hope that your health improves, and soon. I also know that all that Broke Straight Boys offers is a good deal. And, I understand the impossible task of trying to please so many diverse views and preferences. I don't expect to have my particular needs met all the time. I get that. However, I do feel that Broke Straight Boys has just moved too far from its original inception. As I stated earlier, the boys no longer seem that broke, or that straight, and they do get into hard core sex so quickly. The title of this site offers the promise of a fantasy, that once was believable, but no longer holds the same reality.

Your site offers many perks, most notably, this forum. This alone has kept me here for the past year, and while I didn't always like every scene, I could enjoy the forum and the extras while some hot scenes came along. The thing is, that no longer happens. There is no fantasy, there is no "unknown" expectation. There is just plain sex, and that may be okay for many members, it just doesn't hold my attention. I want the fantasy and the unknown. I find it more and more difficult to justify paying for a product that just does not offer me what I want.
