What is "The Sword", and how reliable a source is it? If it is true, obviously there are two sides to every story, but as a big fan of Broke Straight Boys, I appreciate this piece of gossip. Whether management cares to comment or not, we will eventually find out if Cage Kafig is still on "the team". it seems Cage Kafig did not get the work he thought he should. he also mentioned that he thought he was worth more than he was being offered.

I just read his post on FB, and I don't think he'll be coming back!! I liked Cage Kafig, as he was different looking then any other model on the site. He had some real good scenes, but he in my opinion wasn't "all that" to expect to get preference over other models. He said some other stuff that I found interesting.

It's probably just me but, seems to me that the models tend to know more about the "goings on" (obviously) long before the members learn or discover it. Damien's comment to the" Cage Kafig on youtube" post was a "flag" (I thought) that there was more than meets the eye. Too bad though! Interesting (again to me), Vadim Black's introduction to the site gives me a similar feel of a model who may have high aspirations! Just my inner workings, doesn't mean it's true or fact! Just sayin........

I agree with your intuitions mentioned, that obviously the models know before we do of the inner workings, and perhaps they sometimes say too much too soon, (Ian telling us that Johnny was done, and Damien's comment regarding Cage Kafig's youtube video), or perhaps management wants the models to get the word out, I don't think so, but I'm not sure.
And yes, Vadim Black obviously has aspirations to 'make it" in the adult film world, as he has a facebook and probably twitter account all set up, and he has posted here to promote his upcoming scenes. I believe that Damien is the genius of self promotion on Broke Straight Boys, and that Vadim Black is following Damien's model.
It is actually more interesting that management does not come right out and say stuff to us, as it becomes intriguing to me to follow the clues and try to guess what is going on, as with when we first saw a video with Johnny as the director, with no advance warning, and we longtime fans said, "what the fuck?" before Sha and then Johnny came on to explain that Clay was out and Johnny was in.
There are sometimes lulls both in the scenes and on the forum, but I always find something going on either above or below the surface, to keep my interest up in one of my favorite hobbies, the one known as Broke Straight Boys!

I will be sad if he leaves. He had great scenes and a lot of us on the forums really liked what he did here. But if Broke Straight Boys didn't treat him right or something regarding pay that's very unfortunate. I hope for the best for him. I also hope Broke Straight Boys let's us know for sure what happened but I don't see that happening. The good ones always leave.

I like that management does publish a stars that no longer shine in our sky list. someone will always post a sighting and life goes on.

Check out the last posting on Sword. There is an article from a local KY newspaper showing Cage Kafig and stating the he was arrested in mid-Nov on some serious traffic charges and that he might be spending some time in the poky.

I'm not sure if it's still up on his FB page but, I read the post he made regarding his high-speed police chase back in November, to his fans. This is why, when Damien made the comment he did about the YouTube video from Cage Kafig, I didn't think he was being "unrealistic" in calling a peer out on his "behaviors".

If he hasn't been back since Nov then it's time to move on (4 months) you would think he'd get the clue? It's a shame when anybody loses a job, but after this long it's just your own ego getting the best of you!
