I'm (FINALLY) BAAAAAACK!!

Hello to all my vintage family-from days of BSB1! A LOT has happened since my absence these past months! First, my sister, 6.5 yrs younger than me, was told OVER THE PHONE, by her doctor, on CHRISTMAS EVE she has Stage 3 rectal cancer. NICE bedside manners, huh? She has a lazy husband that works when he wants to, as well 3 kids from him. So as a result of this, she has had to cut back working, as a nurse, and work from home when she is able. She has started chemotherapy, and recently has had to add radiation to it. I am going back in April for my birthday, as well to see her and my family.
ANYWAY I hope all vintage members are still around. I will keep you updated, if you wish. I am FINALLY working at a place that appreciates me, is aware of my disability, and works with me as needed, all while I am a cashier.
Thank you for letting me come 'home', as I missed you guys!

Welcome back. While only a Forum member for a number of years I am a member of Broke Straight Boys from its beginnings. As ,to your sister I am glad she is better as a guy who was suppose to die from cancer, I got the last laugh on that one, not that it did not drastically changed my life. As o you I hope you like to dance.

Hi Bob. Home! You’ve been missed. I was worried about your well being as you and I go back to the beginning of the forum. Tampa is also still here as well as juanjo from the earliest days. Stowe still makes an occasional post and Peter who joined us a year or so later, often makes weekend appearances.
I wish your sister a full recovery and you a happy healthy stress free life. So great to see you back home again my friend.

It's so nice to have you back. I'm very sorry to hear about your sister and her diagnosis. While you didn't specify if the the doctor giving her the diagnosis was her PCP or her oncologist... I hope she replaces him regardless. You need to have to have trust in the human common decency as well a high standard of professional and moral conduct of your doctors, let alone their competency. That doctor flunks the first two tests, regardless of whether he passes the third and final one I've listed. Kick that a-hole to the curb.
