Yep. Here's the old thread we mentioned elsewhere today that people used to use to IM each other in the forum. While Kodie used it to talk about a lot of meaningless drivel, it did have its moments. haha

Well It is 1:25 AM on east coast USA now & I had a special friend in New Zealand 4 years & we managed to speak daily for several years.

I also had a very special Kiwi friend like that who I emailed with daily for a long time also. He had a promotion and a major relocation change with his job from the north island to the south island. We kind of lost touch after that. Maybe I need to try to reach out again if it's still possible to reach him with my old contact info. I miss him.

We did speak daily on line and were intimate. Our age difference was 50 years. He was a horrible victim of family and other sexual abuse as a kid which remarkably with aid of another family that treated him like there own recovered. They had a son his age . They were like twins. He was bi but eventually they partnered. I sadly lost contact, wo explanation, which was not like him. He loved sports (my love of tennis & rugby comes from him) and helping kids, both he and his mate became teachers. He has a brilliant mind. One of his favorite sayings "shit happens". Also refused any monetary help frm any one unlike so many others.
