How often are we being set up?

Having followed Broke Straight Boys almost from the beginning, rarely did I feel like I was being set-up from the premise of the site...straight dudes doing gay sex for cash, randomly, at first.

This latest "improvement" leaves me totally skeptical, as I saw Jimmy on DareDorm "pretending" to be in another seemingly "random" scene with a bunch of chicks.

All this fake apprehension on his part, randomly being "discovered" at the beach, etc...etc...etc.....knowing it's not real just takes the interest out of watching the site. Surely there are real straight dudes out there, or at least dudes on the fence, who can be enticed to do things for cash without making us all feel like we are being "hustled"...which we are.

Josh, the safest approach is to assume EVERY setup is fake. Most of the time, they are. When the scene involves the photographer/producer approaching a model and propositioning them to do porn but never asking for ID to verify age, that's the first clue that everything is scripted, although not very well lol.

For me that's part of the charm of sites like this. It wouldn't bother me if they stopped trying to spin these tales of straightdom before the action begins, but some customers need that to help with the fantasy.

I totally understand that the shoots are scripted. They have to be, otherwise, some of these models would never have performed. Not if they had been truly and totally blindsided. And, I accept that the director is telling a story, however, they give us the story written for each of us to read when you click on that particular episode. Since that is already addressed (the story,that is), then I really don't understand the need to spend a full one third to one half of the actual shoot, going through so much dialogue. As I send in another post, if I were that into reading, or hearing a story, I'd go read a book. Or, go to Nifty, and find a complete and well written story of lust or seduction.
