Here're some pics of the Falwells with Granda back in the day when things were going better for the Falwells. As in, Granda was still the Falwells' Boy Toy. In the lower center photo is a pic of Granda on a Falwell family vacation with all the Falwell kids. Some of whom were still minors. The Falwells appear to have brought him along on family trips, probably explaining his presence as a friend of their older children and a close friend of the family. Who knows what mental gymnastics they had to go through with their kids to convince them that Granda was truly a friend of theirs, as well as explaining the absences of Granda (away from all the kids and his "friends") so as to give him "quality time" alone with the parents on those vacations.

It was pretty twisted stuff. With undoubtedly not just a little bit of gaslighting going on (within the family and to other friends and outside acquainances) in order to maintain the secret of the weird affair amongst the three of them.
