It's a bit confusing as each thread has both number of posts viewed by members and number of pages. Br's other thread right now has 40,371 views, and this thread has 34,416 views. But it gets confusing as br's thread is over 4,000 pages as this thread is over 3,000 pages. Therein lies the confusion.

This thread currently has 34,416 views and over 3,000 pages. Your thread currently has 40,371 views and over 4,000 pages. It's easy to confuse a thread's number of views versus number of pages as usually the two are just one "0" apart!
