I recall starting to undress in a Boys' Club locker room for our nude group swim, when a fully clothed 7th grade classmate walked up to me and said: "I also wanted to see your dick, and now I will" to which I dropped trou and replied "Enjoy the view!"

Lol. That was pretty bold of him to say that outright at that age. (And I'm assuming in a more homophobic era also.) I don't doubt that he enjoyed the view given that he all but confessed that he had already been fantasizing about it. haha

Like smoking hot love while it lasts, but so brittle that when it's over they never speak again! I remember that from Psych 101 in college!

Yes! Especially with straight guys. They can have an intense summer friendship or a longer very close acquaintance. But then when the current of life takes them away to college or just elsewhere...they can all but forget that great friendship they shared. Like it's just water under the bridge.
