Hot Professional & College Sports Guys

Re post # 2595: With a little more turning, the blond's mouth could be pushed into that big dick! That has happened in college wrestling more often than one would think!
From both this post and your comments in the past KG, you appear to be very familiar with college wrestling. I was wondering if you ever had a personal conversation or read any interviews with college wrestlers regarding the seemingly blatant homoeroticism of the sport. Any information you could provide would be of great interest to me.

Re post # 2594: I know it's exciting to be interviewed on ESPN, but popping a boner?

I think he's blushing for more reasons than one. haha My guess is the camera man had to purposely aim above the waist to avoid giving viewers at home something above a G rating. :P

A while back on that gay chat site we both used to belong to, I quoted verbatim from a sports article on a high school wrestling meet which interviewed the winner of a match. It was amazing that the words of the young wrestler describing his wrestlng match could have equally been used to describe a fuck of another dude. While I don't recall the exact words he used it was something along the lines of "Knowing his reputation, I was really looking forward to going at it with him. We were grabbing each other everywhere to gain superior position. Then I got him into the position I wanted and had my way with him." That last sentence I do remember was verbatim from his interview. That's a great example of verbal wrestling homoeroticism, and and as my comments to Tampa's posts frequently point out, it is perfectly legal to do things to your opponent on the wrestling mat that would be unthinkable to do to a stranger in any other circumstance. The most obvious example is grabbing your opponent's crotch. Wrestlers hate being on their backs due to the danger of being pinned (the biggest loss possible as your opponent gets five points instead of the three points for a normal win), and their opponents frequently have to grab their crotches to turn them onto their backs (and homoerotic as cocks are grabbed and both guys feel it). Another example is riding time: if one wrestler is in control for one minute or more, he is awarded a bonus point which sometimes decides a close match. The best way to build up riding time is to keep your opponent on his stomach and immobilize him by keeping your chest on his back and your crotch into his ass (and homoerotic as often the grappler on his stomach feels his opponent's boner between his butt cheeks and tapping his asshole with only their wrestling singlets preventing an accidental spontaneous butt fuck (probably why the ancient Greek Olympics, which competed in the nude, prohibited female spectators)). Both are perfectly legal and have legitimate tactical purposes. Also there is something about the sport of wrestling where two guys are given social permission to feel each other up everywhere (for legitimate wrestling purposes of course) that adds to a homoerotic enviornment with lots more physicality such as hugging and butt slapping. I have had some personal conversations with former high school wrestlers and heard differing opinions. On straight gay for pay fuck buddy of mine insisted that his sole object was to win his match and his never noticed the intimate physical contact that occurred. The others though were well aware of it and viewed it as part of the sport - for a straight wrestler an opportunity to dominate and humiliate the opponent, and for a gay or bi wrestler to have some fun with him. I'll try to add more insights along these lines as I comment on Tampa's posts. Obviously your question is one of great interest to me.

I think that the ESPN cameraman should have done a full body shot to boost the ratings! Certainly amongst gay wrestling fans!

Thanks for your explanation KG. Yes. There is another aspect there which you allude to above which I'd like to speak to. Wrestling is a sport with the goal of the physical domination (and thereby the submission) of your opponent. So it's a perfect invitation for alpha males (or wanna-be alphas) to prove their strength, toughness and even virility in a public setting. There's no doubt a hormonal rush and high involved...as well as, dare I say, some form of quasi-semi-sexual thrill and gratification for the victor. And that's regardless of whether both guys legitimately self-identify as totally straight.

So if two studly guys want to size each other up, prove themselves...climb all over each other with close contact touching and grinding of every part of the body, probe each others' strengths and weaknesses...grunt, groan, sweat, flex, maybe shed a couple tears from the exertion even, and have an alpha male pissing contest in a public arena... Well, sign me up for a front row seat.

If people go to all the trouble to put on a show...it would be rude to ignore them. hahaha :movie:
