I am thrilled that remarkable Duke Freshmen Zion Williamson came back tonight with a game for the ages shooting 13-13 from the field for 29 points to help defeat Syracuse and Duke will go on to play North Carolina tomorrow night for a third time to advance to the ACC championship series semifinals.
But the Broke Straight Boys angle for me is to highlight 19 year old Freshmen Buddy Boeheim on Syracuse, the son of legendary Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim. Buddy is a tall thin kid, Ht: 6-5; Wt: 190 and cute as a button, to me.

While I am quite sure he will never appear on Broke Straight Boys as his daddy is a rich famous guy, and we will never see Sha do a BTS, but this is the closest I could do to have the pretty boy do a little interview. That's what's so great about being in "love" with porn stars or pop singers or young athletes. Unlike in real life when you are committed to a partner for life, in the fantasy world of Bieber, Jake or Buddy.......there is always a new fresher shiny object to take my attention.
And the same goes for us. Our looks will continue to fade. When once we walked into a room and several heads turn in interest... No HOT boy talk tonight. Just to say that Duke just beat North Carolina in a GREAT rivalry game and they move on to the ACC Championship game. I am so thrilled!

I'm watching the ACC championship game as I write this. Duke was down to Florida State 27-19 in the first half, came back for a tie at halftime and is now up by nine points with a little over eight minutes to go. I'm rooting for Duke along with you. Although our rooting team will break up when baseball season starts on March 28th.

Duke held on to win and move on to the NCAA Tournament as one of the #1 seeds, which will be revealed tomorrow on Selection Sunday.
And yes kgmets, our loyalties will split beginning on March 28 when the Major League Season opens. However perhaps if all goes well, we can continute to root together for Duke as far as April 8th if they make it to The National Championship game.
PS, You and I have our rivalry games this year June 10-June 11th at Yankee Stadium and on July 2-3 at Citi Field, but as of now we can both say along with elyot1, another big Duke fan,
