i know i have been lacking in my presents on the forums, and i do apologize, i promise its not one of those situations where i just got bored...

i just have been going through and enormous amount of stress guys.. my apartment complex that i just moved out of is not liking the way my roommates left their room and are getting on to me about it. and the new apartment keeps pushing back our move in date.. so as of right now, im living between apartments where one doesnt have electricity and the other is filled with paint unswept and just not ready for living conditions.. and i have been just killing myself with moving everything. and i was going to get a dog, but im so stressed that i had to walk away from a siberian husky that i fell in love with and had to watch her be takin away from me.

Im just stuck almost literally between a rock and a hard place... once i move in and get everything sorted out, things with be better. i know they will.

I'm so sorry Blake!

I wish I could swoop in and make it all better for you. I really do. Please know that I send my love and good wishes to you. I will keep you in my thoughts and I'll be sending positive energy your way. This is one of those stages of life where things are especially hard at times. Many of us have horror stories like this from our early 20's. That is not to downplay the hardships you are going through. Merely to let you know that you are not alone in these kinds of experiences. I know it sucks. I'm sorry. But I also know you will persevere because you're a strong man, with a life that is only going to get better. Give it another month and I'm sure things will have improved. We are here for you Blake through thick and thin. XOXO

Blake- Many of us have been through similar situations especially in our young adulthood years. So take heart, things will get better and you might even look back on all this someday and laugh about it.

In the meantime, you've been getting to travel to some great places on the Pride tours and this weekend you will be in the greatest city on earth - New York. So relax, forget your troubles, and enjoy!!

Blake, I am so sorry to hear about your current difficulties. If there is anything I can do to help, please send me a private message so I can get in touch. I love animals, and I am so very sorry that you had to watch the dog you had fallen in love with be taken away. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

like you said to spencer something aboutwhen things get overwhelming just step away from the for a while. sounds like you need a shoulder or an ear.

Blake:
So sorry to hear of the problems - just remember, one of the shortest verses in the Bible is "And It Came To Pass". I would like to know how the siberian was taken away from you. I know how you feel. I have always loved miniature schnauzers and have had 4 - 3 died of natural causes but my latest - Max - I had only a year until he ran away and I assume is dead. It is truly devestating. When things settle for you , be sure to get a new dog as soon as possible.

Blake, I am so sorry to hear that things are so crazy and stressful for you right now. I'm also sorry to say that the things you mention are actually a common situation among twenty somethings, people that are making a move, and anyone with roommates.

Hopefully your new apartment will be bright, shiny, and clean soon. If the problem with your old apartment was your roommates bedroom, hopefully he will step up and be the one to get penalized for it. If not, your feelings towards your roommate may be effected.

Losing the dog you wanted is very heartbreaking. I had to give up my dog when I found out my son was allergic. It was very difficult, since I am a dog lover, BUT dogs are also very, very, time consuming and difficult to be away from. You are quite the jet setter right now, was Sha willing to take it on the Broke Straight Boys tour?

Keep your chin up, in a few days you will be telling us about your new apartment, Denver, and New York.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Dearest and most stressed but beautiful just the same Blake,

Trust me when I say it will be history soon! You are too special a person to have such unpleasantries color your young life! Occasional hardships just give us valuable new insights on appreciating our life that much more! Certainly, you have given Broke Straight Boys members much to be happy about. I am a firm believer in justice in life. Your day will come too!:001_wub:

I want to take this opportunity to state how truly wonderful Jason and you were in your spectacular duo. Your fabulous stiffie gave Jason's prostate a lot to shout for joy. Your attractively hairy body and Jason's near hairfree body were a perfect complement to the other while contrasting your unique qualities that set you both apart as stars! Stars with enormous personal charm and equally charming cocks, too!:blushing:

Dust yourself off and go on with your young and charmed life. Remember "Tomorrow is another day" according to the movie "Gone with the Wind":wtf:
Don't dispare about the dog! I am sure that there is another dog just waiting for you around the corner wagging his tail for your eyes only! I am sure your immense personal charm and that unforgetable smile you have will apply equally well with another dog some day!:anyone:

Sincerely hoping things work out soon,

Stimpy

Hi Blake, I'm so sorry you're having difficulties, unfortunately it's a nasty part of life. The only help I can give you is to remind you of the big dramas of your childhood and how they likely now seem distant and perhaps even funny. Although it may sound trite, the reality is this too will pass.

Blake, I'm so sorry to hear about your appartment situation. Maybe you have a friend that would let you crash on their couch for a little while until things get straightened out. You are most certainly in my thoughts and prayers.

I too am very sorry about you losing out on a dog that you had already formed an attachment to. I'm sure he knew that you cared for him greatly. And isn't that the point? He will carry a part of you with him for the rest of his life.

Between traveling and hopefully filming, your schedule is very full right now. Once Pride season winds down you will have fewer weekends away from home and more time to bond with, and take care of, a pet. You hint that one of your roommates is not very conscientious or reliable in the upkeep of an apartment. So maybe a pet would not be as well cared for by others while you are away traveling this summer and fall. The heart was willing and open, but the timing for a pet apparently just wasn't right. You'll find the perfect dog for you eventually I'm sure.

In the telling of the above I was reminded of the book "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. It tells the story of this cherubic blonde little boy who travels from one tiny planet to another on a continuous journey. There are lessons to be learned and life experiences to be gained on each of the little planets. He meets people who teach him things about morality, philosophy, materialism, human nature...all in the form and vocabulary of a children's book. (Yet one would be wrong to assume that it is only a children's book) When he senses that it's time to move on to another realm he leaves that planet to cross over to the next one. The little prince is constantly evolving and becoming wiser along the way.

On one planet he meets a fox in the wild. The fox asks him from a distance to tame him and become his friend. He explains to the prince that if he comes to the same spot each day and sits a little closer to the tree where he is hiding, that eventually they will form a bond and become unique to each other. Rather than the prince being just another human he will become special to the fox. And the fox will become special to the boy over all the other foxes on the planet. The fox tells him that when he sees a field of wheat that it will not be an ordinary wheat field anymore that he passes with hardly a glance. Because it will remind him of his friend's beautiful blonde hair.

The prince tells him that he will eventually have to leave this realm but the fox insists that he tame him anyway. The prince does come to the field every day and sits a little closer to the fox under the tree to gain his trust. The bond grows between them. They each tame the other. The fox becomes unique to the prince over all the other random animals and foxes in the world and the prince becomes unique to the fox among all the other humans.

The time comes when the prince must move on to the next planet. He goes to the fox to say goodbye. The fox tells him that he will now cry. The prince is upset and perplexed. The fox indeed begins to cry. The prince tells the fox that he never meant to harm him. He asks the fox why he wanted to be tamed if it would lead to him being so upset when they had to part. He says that this taming has done the fox no good at all. "It has done me good", said the fox, "because [now I have] the color of the wheat fields."

thank you so much, i never had anything like that happen to me before. it was def a situation that you only have nightmares about and hope and pray they do not come true.. i had already takin pictures with the dog, i have a mushy heart so i feel in love hard and fast, then to not be able to take her home destroyed me a little knowing that someone came and swept her away from me before i could even think it through. i had to delete the picture, it was too much.

the traveling was one of the reasons why i had to give her up, i knew all the responsibilities and with pride tour being at its peak it was not smart of me to continue to have her especially with being between apartments.

Oh yeah, my roommates already dead to me. lol note that im miving into a one bedroom 1,100 s/ft. super excited, if they would actually let me move in!! lol they keep finding new things electrical pushing back my move in date.
