Hi everyone - new to the forums but not new to Broke Straight Boys - I've been a member on-and-off since the early days but only discovered the forums thanks to the latest design of the site.

I have to confess that I've been reading the forums for quite a while now and I'm really impressed by the community that surrounds this site. I may not chime in all the time but it's been fun reading the banter back and forth about the scenes as well as the other topics that get raised along the way. I figured it was about time to become legit here.

I always look at the number of people on the site versus the number of members that post on the forum...shit, you guys are a kinky bunch, listening in to our conversations...hehehe. I hope you will post; tell us what you like and don't like, be yourself! there is also a thread, "10 facts about you;" we would love to know more...always more. Have you been to any of the pride events and met any of the models? Hope you let us know all there is to know...and fantasize about!

I haven't been to any Pride events in years...although I'm sorry I missed the rare opportunity to meet a few models in NY this year. Maybe they'll make it an annual thing? One can only hope...

I had never done anything like it before and I must admit that I thoroughly enjoy it. We are a diverse bunch and are hardly reticent in expressing our views on things. But for the most part it is done with civility; and, when not, people are called out on it.

Jay, I join all of the others in welcoming you. I too love this forum, and the community we have built around it, and as with many others the forum is much more important to me than than the actual product we are seeing. I came for the porn but stayed for the forum.

My taste in porn seems to be very different from the majority of the posters here, whom we call "forumites", (thanks to my friend SlimVintage for coining that term which has lasted longer than (sadly) he did on the forum). Hopefully you will continue to find scenes that you enjoy in the porn, and become part of our totally dysfunctional, but for the most part loving forum family.

How sweet of you to finally join us. I too joined Broke Straight Boys in 2006, but did not join the forum until 2009. Like you, I read the banter back and forth for awhile before I decided to add my 2 cents. I am so glad I did. I have made some truly amazing friends here on this very forum, and they have become like family to me. I care very much for them and their happiness, as they do for mine. It is such fun, even when we rip each other up. It is always in fun, and many of us have learned to take things in stride. Sometimes, all you can do is sit back and laugh.

Have fun, and don't be a stranger. Add yourself to the "10 Random Facts" so that we can get to know you even better..
