Thanks for the warning Abe, and based on the free previews I have watched so far, I think I will stay away from that site, and Broke Straight Boys will remain the only site that I 'pay' for, for the time being.

I appreciate the warning, and value your suggestions and advice, during the remaining time of your membership here.

You're welcome Mike, and also keep in mind that Hazehim only updates with one new scene every 4-6 weeks on average. I know we have come to expect 3 new updates per week here on Broke Straight Boys, plus complete access to the totally free bonus sites, but you pay a lot more for a Hazehim membership than you do to Broke Straight Boys and you will only get one new update for an entire month of membership, IF THAT. I once rejoined Hazehim after a several month hiatus, and was shocked -- not to mention PISSED -- when they did not update with a SINGLE SCENE THE ENTIRE MONTH I REMAINED A PAYING CUSTOMER. I allowed it to rebill one more month, and they finally updated with one new scene about 2 weeks after the rebill occurred. So I was a paying member for one full month and then rebill, and only got ONE NEW SCENE after paying basically $90.00 for two months.

I emailed them with a emphatically worded complaint, basically chewing them up one side and down the other (basically ranting, I know, big surprise lol), and demanded a full refund or I would dispute the charges with my credit card for paying for services never rendered.

They sent me a form letter type reply back politely declining my request for a refund, and pointed out the Terms of Service stating there is no requirement on their part for a minimum number of updates per month.

Not only do they rarely update the site and charge a premium price for membership, but they don't even offer downloadable content. You are forced to watch the content streaming only, it is NOT downloadable. IF you have RealPlayer PLUS you can still download it using that, but it is not a site option however and you have to jury rig your system to get it to download.

I would put Hazehim, along with Out In Public, Bait Bus, and DickDorm (and I believe all these sites are run by the same company) into the same RIP OFF SITES grouping.

But I must admit, there is some Hazehim footage that is pretty damn hot. But it's so few and far between, you have to go searching for it.

The Hazehim "trial membership" is NOT an actual trial membership, anymore than their "bonus sites" are actual bonus sites.

• A Hazehim "trial membership" consists of no more than trailers for the scenes, you are not allowed to watch the full scenes, and you can't even watch trailers for all of the content, only the most recent 5-6 scenes. If you try to "watch" any other scenes, you get a pop up message prompting you to join a "full" membership, for like $45.00 ADDITIONAL (on top of the $19.95 or whatever you pay for a "trial" membership) before you can watch the whole scene. Broke Straight Boys graciously provides full site access if you join a Broke Straight Boys trial membership.
• The Hazehim "bonus sites" is nothing more than links to other sites in their network, that you can join for the "Special reduced rate of $35.00 per month" or something like that. They are not bonus sites that you get full access to like they are here on Broke Straight Boys
• Also, if you do end up joining Hazehim, be careful at sign-up because if you miss the pre-checked box and don't manually un-check it, you will automatically be signed up for a second membership to another site in their network. I think it's the itsgonnahurt.com site or something like that.

They have their "Trial Memberships" that show you none of the good content. (Only trailers and teasers) Then they try to trick you into buying the full membership. Then most people I've talked to, who did end up joining, were not satisfied with the videos they did see. Hazehim has a very bad reputation out there. And from what people tell me...it's well deserved.

Just to make the point I was at a Broke Straight Boys event one time (Sha was there with models and everything) and I was telling a guy in the club what a good site Broke Straight Boys was. I urged him to at least try the trial membership for $1 to see if he liked it. He said he said he didn't want to do it because he had just gotten ripped off by a trial membership on a site called Hazehim. He was quite upset about it and went on in detail as to what happened to him. I tried to convince him that Broke Straight Boys did not do business in that fashion. And as I say he is not the only person I've talked to personally who had the same experience.

That is absolutely spot on, Tampa. While I admit I have no understanding whatsoever behind the Blu Media decision making thought process nor their business model (namely throwing money at what appears to be "their problem", yet keeping Clay on as director...when it's obvious to me he may be very dedicated and hard working, yet he has zero instincts, no personality, and no concept of how to successfully film/produce hot gay for pay content that the target audience wants to watch rebill after rebill), Mark and Blu Media take extremely good care of their members and they are nothing short of exemplary in terms of outstanding customer services and support.

If you have a technical issue, they will do whatever they can to work with the customer in order to correct it. If you have a billing concern, Mark will personally see to it you are taken care of. They sit by and allow us to complain about the content without getting defensive (that has to be really hard to sit there and take on a daily basis, but they still allow us do it and I certainly hope they understand we do it out of love and dedication to the product many of us have grown to love over the years).

Sites like Hazehim are downright and completely unethical in the way they treat their members, and they have no problem flat out LYING to customers and would be customers. Doing things like claiming "real submitted college hazing footage", "Get paid to submit your footage, click here to learn more", then using well known porn stars in every scene not only as performers having the sex (there are NUMEROUS former Broke Straight Boys models performing in many of the Hazehim scenes), but even casting well known porn stars like former gay porn star Austin Grant and Tyler Evans as extras in the scenes.

I see that Abe already warned you about this site, but I have been enjoying the videos for my $4.95 trial. The videos are not trailers, they are full length videos and some of them are really hot. I signed up Friday, 9/16. at about 11:00 p.m. My trial period will end today, Sunday, at the time I signed up. I'll let you know what happens, that is, if they automatically renew my membership without my consent. I did have some problems with billing because apparently they have two billing companies for the site, and Abe is right about the charge for the It's Gonna Hurt site. You pay an additional $1.95 for a 3-day trial period. I paid with a debit card from one of my banks, which, fortunately, has a security company that tracks any suspicious charges and calls the bank's customers to verify the charges. That's how I found out about the $1.95 charge. The billing company has a 24/7 number, so I called them. They told me they would refund the charge. So, I'm waiting to see what happens. If they try to gyp me, the bank's security company will file a charge of fraud to get my money back. Sorry about all the detail Mike, but I wanted to give you an honest account of my experience with this site.

Well I'm really glad to hear they have changed their trial memberships then, because before it was like $19.95 for a 3 day trial membership and you literally got access to nothing but maybe 3 minute trailers for the most recent 5-6 scenes and that was it. And then on top of that if you upgraded to a full membership, they would then charge you an additional $45.00 on top of what you already paid, for a "full" membership.

I am very happy to hear they're no longer doing that as I wondered how that could even legal to scam people like that so they must have gotten enough complaints about it that they mended the error of their ways regarding trial memberships.

Powa, if you mean we should have listened to you and Buckeye about Tyler being an extra in the scene in a non-sexual role, I agree with you absolutely...that most definitely is Tyler for sure. And thanks to Slimmie for verifying that for us because if anyone can identify Tyler from a distance, Slimmie can.
