Occasionally but rarely does Halloween fall on a Sunday, but this is one of those years. With the possible exception of New Orleans and its Gay Mardi Gras balls and other activities such as seducing drunk straight college boys in the gay blocks of Bourbon Street, Halloween is arguably the most embraced holiday of the gay community highlighted by the legendary gay costume parade on Halloween night in the Greenwich Village section of New York City and celebrations in other gay communities across the nation, even New Orleans. So Happy Halloween everyone!

And I fully agree with what @br6205 said earlier. I frequently enjoyed what kg, Mike, and Jay wrote, immensely. So much so sometimes that I wonder if I should write anything, after all, I don't write reviews or comments that good.

ajames, PLEASE write more and give your reviews and opinions. This forum has meant so much to me, since Mark began it in 2008, at a point in my life when my life long job had come to an end and I had a lot of time on my hands. I found a voice to express my thoughts and developed forum friends, and I was shocked that some of my forum friends became “real life” friends too. While all is good with me now personally, I very much miss the “old gang”, which changed through the years, but there was always a relatively large group of diverse folks from all over the world who came together here through our love of porn but we actually developed a community. Sadly the forum is down to only very few folks today. So please ajames and anyone else who may read the forum but who doesn’t participate, join in and write and review Broke Straight Boys whether you feel like you are in the majority or not. And I love to get to know people through their writing about their lives and experiences. While I understand that Broke Straight Boys will never be what it was when I first joined, but I would still love to see a resurgence on the forum.

Once we get past the personal opinions over sexual attraction to which models (which are completely subjective with no one right answer), when we discuss for example the perspective of the gay guy to his holidays and those of others, we find a lot of mutual respect and appreciation, and I and apparently others find that interesting.

If I'm not mistaken you are from the Atlanta area, and I overheard a funny conversation a few years back at Mardi Gras time on the iconic balcony of Cafe LaFitte in Exile in the gay section of the French Quarter in New Orleans. It was an animated conversation between a gay local New Orleanian and a cute gay kid from Atlanta. After asking where the kid was from and getting the answer he was from Atlanta, the local replied you must be a bottom, because all gay guys from Atlanta are bottoms! This incensed the kid, who accused him of being prejudiced by casting the overly broad stereotype of all Atlanta guy males as being bottoms. The local then replied: "OK then are you a top or bottom?" to which the cute kid angrily replied: "That has nothing to do with it!"
