Tampa originally made note of "turning over the odometer" on his Tim & Liam post, and that is where I originally congradulated my friend Tampa on this auspicious occasion.Way to go Tampa on 5000 posts. You make me feel like a beginner here.
I said on another thread that I consider you, Markymark, Jayman and Slimvintage the "founding fathers" of the forum.

Tampa... 5000... you are very talkative : -) and I love reading your posts.
5000 posts, that's nearly 100 posts for each year of your life... LOL xx
woohoo!
thanks for posting, tampa
Dear Tampa 24,
Isn't it a sign of approaching old age to always be counting, that is age-wise at least. However, you are the exception to this rule. Daily, you prove one is as young as one writes and, with your penchant for only writing good, thoughtful, and positive posts! "I feel you are at least good for another 5000 or more postings, before we have to trade-you-in for a newer and/or updated version of yourself". As I see it, that is one's life-reward for "knocking himself out" like you, being so fully-active on the Broke Straight Boys forum! :
CONGRATULATIONS GO TO YOU, TAMPA24, FOR YOUR IMPRESSIVE ACCOMPLISHMENT! Rest assured, you have got many years of writing still ahead of you! I do not see you..."being put out to pasture " OR being sent to a "glue factory" in your immediate future! You have many "sugar-cubes" and "other delights" remaining for you in your feeding bag. Thank God you have never suffered the abuse or indignity on the Forum Track of..."being ridden HARD, and put up WET"! If so, you might have shorted-out something on your computer in the process!
I see in your future another 5000 laps around the track,
Stimpy
Gosh Tampa, it's soo big!
Yeah. I hear that alot. Then I wake up. haha
How do you manage; what is your secret?! I also like the fact that you share it so willingly. I want to be just like you someday...but I have a long ways to go! Congrats
Tampa originally made note of "turning over the odometer" on his Tim & Liam post, and that is where I originally congradulated my friend Tampa on this auspicious occasion.
But now that he has his own exclusive congratulatory thread on the subject, I am quoting myself to put this in it's proper place. Once again my sincerest congratulations and thank you Tampa for always being the level headed cool customer to put things in prospective here in "Forumland". It wouldn't be the same without having you here, Tampa! Thank you for enhancing my experience by being such an important part of this forum.
Tampa, I always enjoy reading your posts and am glad that I agree with the vast majority of your views. Not long after I joined the forum in May 2011, I had a question on how to do something which I posted and you were the first person to answer me and guide me through the problem.
You are a fine example of what the forum should be about and the civility by which it should be conducted by all of us. Whether I get to 1,000 depends on how long I live, I guess - lol!! But I do know I will never get anywhere near your number.
The forum would be a lesser place without you.
