Not an odd duck, at all. I think what you describe is the way many members have felt about many of the boys here, especially those who did a lot of work and were here for a long time. As we have discussed in the past, we got to know them (or felt we did) and thought of them as friends or family or a sort. Many of us had true feelings for them beyond just the basic porn-induced stuff, be it paternal or big-brotherly or friendly or however you want to classify it. I think a part of that were the videos of the guys at various Pride events and in the house, just being themselves. The few BTS we get now feel staged and insincere and aren't really worth the time or effort, and I don't believe they do the Pride events anymore.

Most of dear Mike Robbin's (MHRIP) passing will forever remain a mystery. The only bit of information I got afterwards from people in the know was that he died at home. Very unexpectedly. His family was understandably very shocked and distraught. Out of respect for his family and the family's desire for privacy, we will never know such things as whether any drugs were found in his system. We'll never know if his passing was due to some odd form of natural causes, an accidental overdose, suicide or whatever. If anybody out there in the world knows for sure, they've never shared it with me. Besides, that isn't information that the public has a "right" to know anyway.

Mikey suffered greatly from lifelong issues of either ADHD, possibly bipolar personality disorder and maybe even more than one diagnosis of disorders within that same spectrum. He was prone to severe mood swings and battled many demons which prevented him from leading a balanced and emotionally happy and healthy life. I do remember that his family asked that in lieu of flowers, that people make a donation to organizations affiliated with something like pediatric ADHD research, development and treatments. Our beautiful prince's suffering in this earthly realm is now over. Those of us who have been here for a while still mourn him to this day. We feel tears trying to well up, or a lump in our throats at times when we speak of him. We lift him up in our memory to say that he is loved and is not forgotten.

I watched the BTS of the latest model, Jacob, to be appearing on the site, and while Sha told us he did a "few" scenes in the past, if you google him, you will see that a "few" is an exaggeration as much like Drake Tyler who was featured here a while back, Jacob has also been around the block more than a few times. From his interview, he seems like a nice man, but he is in no way what I am into seeing on Broke Straight Boys At the end of his interview he takes off his shirt and he is a muscle bound type and I'm sure some will be turned on by his body, but I will skip his solo and wait for him to be paired with a model who I enjoy.

Well don't feel too bad, Johnny, you are saying the same thing a couple of us have also said (and so I suppose many more who don't post also feel). I was actually angry when I saw the preview pics of them (maybe an immature, selfish or inappropriate reaction, but you feel the way you feel ). A few can give people wiggle room. But my dictionary says couple means two (unless you go to the very last of its meanings where it says a few (and few is defined as a small indefinite number). But Jacob has done 14 scenes on that website I won't mention but the one where JJ and Johnny Forza and Paul film. And 14 is neither a couple nor a few nor a small indefinite amount. Broke Straight Boys mgmnt either being sloppy in doing its due diligence with a prospective employee or misleading us yet again - either way what a shocker!!!.

I said the exact same thing a couple weeks ago. We've all pretty much come to terms with the fact that the "straight" part of Broke Straight Boys is mostly gone now, but can we at least stay a little closer to the "boy" part? Early 20s is okay -- 26, 27 and beyond, not so much. That's what CollgeDudes is for. And with the internet and how quickly and easily you can find things, "fudging" on an experienced model's age or background doesn't work (although I see Flip's age is now listed as 26, and not 18 or 22!).
