Hey Everyone,

I am curious as to how many of you follow the tv show The Real World on MTV. The current season of the show features a tall dark and handsome young man who did porn a few years ago. Gay porn. Do you know the show or the young man I'm talking about?

His name is Dustin Zito. But his stage name was Spencer. His real name is said on the show itself several times per episode. So I'm not divulging any secret info here. He is 24 y/o and he is on the reality show living with 6 other roommates. He is from a small town in Louisiana I believe. In any case he is straight. Upon arrival in Las Vegas he immediately became romantically involved with a very pretty and sweet blonde girl on the show. This is one of the few real world casts that did not have an openly gay roommate.

But Dustin came on the show with a secret past. Shortly after turning 18 he was hired by a site called Fratpad that has the setup of guys living in a large house with cameras that record them in many rooms. The shower, in their bedrooms, and many situations where they are trotting around nude. I don't know the site but I'm led to believe that there is not intercourse per se. Although the guys do masturbate on camera for the paying viewers who are watching them. Although most if not all of the models are straight they are asked to pose in situations that are sexually suggestive.

The amazing thing is that he did this at a very young age and could come back to his hometown and nobody was ever the wiser. His very conservative Pentacostal family never found out. Then he decided that he wanted to go on the Real World on national tv. He was honest with the MTV producers about all this and they picked him out of many thousands of applicants for a slot on the show.

The current series is still releasing new episodes with him in it. The cast of the Real World was sent to live in a hotel in Las Vegas. Well Dustin did not make a great impression with 2 other guys on the show, but had a good relationship with the other 3 women. He was sill keeping this secret though.

He was asked at verious points what he thought about gay people and he came across as rather homophobic. He would tell the other homophobic guy that he felt that sex was for procreation. And that homosexuality was wrong. One of the other guys pointed out that homosexuality exists in nature, in the animal kingdom. He stood firm that he was against homosexuality and gay marriage.

Then in last week's episode he made a big fuss when they all went to a Venetian themed hotel that had gondolas and Italian artwork throughout. The roommates decided that the girls would ride together in one gondola and the guys in another. Dustin refused because he said it was too weird to have a group of guys riding in a gondola together. So 4 of the women went on one gondola and the 2 guys went on a gondola together alone without Dustin. The 2 guys on the gondola made all kinds of mock romantic poses together to taunt Dustin on the sidelines. In as many words telling him they thought he was being way too uptight about not going a fun gondola ride in a public place with male passengers.

Then the shit hit the fan later in the episode. His girlfriend in the house got an email from her mother telling her that she had looked up Dustin's name on the internet and found that he was a former gay porn model. Two other girls on the show found out in a phone call from a roommate who had been kicked off the show a week earlier. He had done internet research on his own and found out the same thing. So within one day it seems the female roommates all found this out from different sources within hours of each other. The girlfriend in the house was devastated. she had previously stated that she had no problem with gay people...but, she would never date a guy who could be with another guy.

The thing is that he says that he is straight and did the site only for the money. Which the roommates are skeptical to believe. Does this sound like something we might know a little bit about? His responses to their questions are just fascinating.

Yes he does. lol The way he sees his foray into porn is very interesting though.

That is really interesting. I googled him, but found only a few naked videos and pics of him, mostly running away naked swinging his big soft dick. If anyone has any links to him jerking off or anything I'd love to see. When a guy like him goes mainstream on MTV, it really get's my interest.

Does anyone remember or know of Simon Rex? He was an extremely good looking young MTV VJ many years ago, when it was revealed that he made three naked jerk off porno tapes when he was 19. I was able to rent them at the time, and he was a hot straight dude who jerked off on camera.

When they are TV celebs, it makes the porn seem even hotter.

I think it's because we think we know celebrities better because of their roles, their publicity, their notoriety, and getting a voyeur's glance at the dick of someone you "know" who's hot, is stiffy making. A random hottie on the Friday thread can be inspiring but not compelling, because of that difference. 'Tis part of the success of Broke Straight Boys

I wanted to give you guys more of the story last night. But I knew that the post would run on way too long for the attention span we usually give to each post. First off though for those interested in seeing more of Spencer's work they will find it on the home page of the Fratpad site. In the free intro section they have a long video of him giving a tour of the Fratpad house while naked. In some parts of the intro he has a semi. To see him actually jack off or do anything more though, you must sign up and pay for the membership.

But now to the main thrust of the story. He came on the show portraying himself to his roommates and the viewing audience as a straight as an arrow, even somewhat homophobic guy. He had even said for instance that he felt uncomfortable walking around shirtless in public because maybe some gay guys would be checking him out. When he was outed as a former porn model to his roommates by people outside the house he was like a terrified deer caught in the headlights. By his own admission he said it felt like he was going to have a nervous breakdown.

He had to have known that his secret would come out when he went to be on national television. And even though the episodes of the show are filmed several months before they are aired to the public, he was walking all over over Las Vegas. This is not some small town in the deep South. People from all over see you there.

When he first talked to his roommates about it he admitted that he had done some soft porn involving other guys. But he stuck to his guns that he was straight, and that it was only for the money. In spite of his declarations that he was not gay or bi, his roommates and his girlfriend were dubious. The distraught gf was ready to dump him.

In the beginning of his talks with the roommates he also tried to portray his work on the site as lockerroom kind of stuff, with nothing more than a little masturbation. He insisted that he had never had sex with another dude. Then much later, with more pointed questions by his girlfriend on the show, but with the cameras running...he grudgingly admitted that he had done more than that. But insisting all along that he was straight. I myself believe he is.

There was one more poignant scene where one of the male roommates...a guy who had been one of the more homophobic people in the house came to him. In his own way he tried to apologize for the homophobic remarks that he had made in front of Dustin in the past. He said something like,"I'm glad you're here. Because you are going to help me grow. Saying all those (homophobic) things in front of you may have hurt your feelings. And when I go back home I will carry some of that with me. That I should think twice before saying things like that." That's not an exact quote, mind you. It's just a close approximation. While Dustin appreciated the kind words of support, he was exasperated at having to hear them because it told him that the roommates still thought he was gay or bi.

In another scene he is in a restaurant with the girl who had been just a day or two ago his very close gf. She is still trying to get to the bottom of what his past involved. She corners him a bit and asks what she would find if she went on the site. She asked him if she would see him having sex with another guy. He insists that the answer is no. She asks, "Oral sex?". He exhales and grudgingly says, "Yeah". She looks like she wants to throw a plate through the restaurant window.

He will later admit to doing more than oral sex. But that's for another post. He opens up about more of his childhood, his life story, and what led him to do what we here would call "gay for pay" porn.

Tampa, this is fascinating stuff to me. I found his naked introductory clip earlier today when searching his name, but apparently his hard on shots are on the pay site only. I will have to watch the show to see what he's up too. Thanks for the info.

Spencer was one of the earliest (and most prolific) dick-suckers at the Frat pad. He didn't seem to hate it then...

This guy has serious identity problems. And I would say mental too. He's got a big dick though.

Okay. So last we left our hero he was trying to convince his distraught gf that he was not gay or bi. Even after he finally admitted that he had done oral sex on the site. She asks him again if he has ever done intercourse with a guy on camera. He later admits that it did happen. But not on that site.

He tells her a little bit about his life story when he was a child. His mother has terrible bipolar disorder. She's been hospitalized for it many many times. He says that she would leave him in the house often as a little kid while she went off to the bars. (She was probably self medicating with alcohol.) She would leave him home alone when he was well under the age of 13. She did not give him a babysitter because babysitters cost money that she didn't have. She would go on drinking binges at the bars and go home with strange men. Thereby leaving him by himself in the house for nearly 24 hour stretches.

He says that when he was 18 he had few options in life in the neighborhood and city he was in. He claims his options were to work minimum wage jobs going nowhere, sell drugs, or go to college. He claims that college wasn't an option because his family couldn't afford it. He says that he was athletic enough that he could have gotten athletic scholarships if he had been allowed to play sports in high school. But his mother's religion prohibited him from doing that. When pressed on this he said that his mother was a Pentecostal. For those who aren't familiar with that denomination they are very strict and almost Puritanical. She didn't want him to be around the bad influence of sports, music, partying and womanizing that that crowd draws. I know, right? A little bit of the pot calling the kettle black.

So he said when he was over 18 and going nowhere, a man approached him about doing a site called Fratpad. He was told that he wouldn't have to do anything that he didn't want to do. It started off with just a photo shoot. He said suddenly he was making thousands of dollars a week to be in the house. He refers to the man who approached and hired him as a very welcome father figure in his life. He's very emphatic that he appreciates all that the man did for him at that point in his life.

He said while in the house that in order for the paying members to like you and want to keep you in the house, that you had to keep doing more in order to "stay relevant". (In his words.) He said that he had to fill 4 hour stretches and keep the members entertained. And that you can only give members so much masturbation before they are writing you in real time and saying, "Ya know...Could you please do something different?" So he was gradually doing more and more sexually so that he could stay in the house and keep making the big money.

On the hour long show right after the TRW episode they bring the cast together to talk about what has just happened. But this now has the benefit of some hindsight for the cast members. So on the Real World Aftershow Dustin talks about his feelings on having worked on a gay site as a straight guy. Still defending his heterosexuality he says that this whole process (of talking about it publicly) would have been alot easier for him if he really had been gay.

They pressed him on the fact that he had been taken advantage of by this pervy guy who approached him and hired him. He would have none of that. He said that he was never taken advantage of. That everything he did, he did willingly. They asked him if he now regretted all the stuff he did and wished he could take it all back. He said absolutely not. That he learned SO much about life from the experience that he doesn't regret it at all. That it helped make him who is today.

This post is getting too long. So more later. :001_smile:

So... His interview goes on with the other castmates of the show. He is pressed to talk about the fact that he did have intercourse with another guy on camera at a later point. He never divulges on tv whether he topped or bottomed.

He says that the same older man who discovered and hired him came to him and discussed a special project (a film) that he was planning to do. He told Dustin that he would include him in the project if wanted to be involved in it. It would mean that he would have to perform a short actual sex scene with another male model. He told him which other model he had in mind for a potential scene of the two of them. This was a model that Dustin knew and was already friends with. He also told him that he planned to film this movie in Australia. In Dustin's words the guy asked him, "Are you interested?" Dustin's response was a crisp, "Let me think about it."

So Dustin debated whether to do this scene in the movie. He talked it over with the model who would be assigned with him. He told the guy he would do it. So he did do the scene.

The roommates are jumping all over him at this point telling him how naive he was at being manipulated in this way. Saying that this guy totally took advantage of him to press him to do more and more against his morals and comfort level. Basically saying that he had been very naive to this guy's manipulations. Again Dustin would have none of it. He said, "Look. This guy was going to do this project with or without me. It was MY choice whether to be involved in it or not."

The roommates are exasperated with him. They are telling him that he was oblivious to the fact that he started off with simple things and with more money and more money he was pushed to go farther and farther. The money, the trip to Australia, etc, etc. But Dustin stood his ground. When asked if he would ever do porn again he said that he definitely would not. But in as many words he said he was grateful for the experience...and even if he could go back to the past, he wouldn't change a thing.

Before going to the Fratpad house he had probably never been on any kind of luxury trip or vacation in his life. He may not have ever even left his home state. Not even to Florida or California or tourist places like that . As for the full-on sex scene he did, I imagine that he did the math: I get to get plucked out of the obscurity of this small town again...I get an all expense paid trip to Australia while I'm in the prime of my life. I get to go with a group of guys who are all around my age. And on top of the all expense paid trip that I would never get to make on my own...I get paid big bucks for myself. All I have to do is a short intercourse scene with another dude.

In light of all that I'm sure that it was not a very difficult decision for an 18-21 y/o guy to make. (He's 24 now)

The host of the show brings up another point. He says that they have been in contact with the owners of the site in question...(They don't give the name. But it's Fratpad.)...and they have dedicated the whole homepage of the site to Dustin/Spencer. "They say that their membership has gone up 11% since all this started." (His going on The Real World show) "Don't you feel that you are entitled to some of that money? After all, the owner of the site is now walking around with a new gold watch because of you."

Dustin said, "Well first off, I don't go on the site anymore. So I have no idea what goes on over there. But no. I don't feel I'm entitled to more money."

This post is running long again. So more later.

So the interview continues. Another roommate is brought on the panel who Dustin has had run ins with in the past...and will in the future based on sneak peeks of future episodes. He calls Dustin out on all the homophobic things that he had said and done on the show. He asked him how he could be so hypocritical by bashing gays, being firmly against gay marriage, etc.

Dustin admits that alot of his homophobic remarks were meant to convince them of how straight he was...in case his gay porn secret came out. He used the gay bashing to try to reinforce his heterosexuality with them. In fairness he did seem a bit ashamed of having handled it in that way. This other roommate says that he has several gay friends back home and because of this he found many of Dustin's homophobic remarks and actions to be offensive to him also. Again Dustin apologizes for that.

He went on to say that his opinion on gay marriage was formed by talking to other gay people about it. He said that their take was that they would not want to be married in a church where they were not welcome, under a book that says they are nothing but sinners. I don't know of many gays who feel that way at all. But Dustin has apparently talked to a few who do. Besides, you can go to a Justice of the Peace and get married with no religious ceremony at all if that is your choice. Unless you are a gay couple of course who live in the majority of states that don't allow it.

In the prior episode on the show he told his gf how much he resented (some) gays he met at events promoting his site. He said that just because he was on the site that some gay guys took that to mean that they could just walk up to him and grab his crotch. And then say anything (of a sexual nature) to him that they wanted to. He talked about how terribly disrespectful that was. He didn't say that about all of them (the gay guys at events), but obviously the really aggressive bad ones left him a little bitter.

I can remember that at the event that I went to in Orlando. And Lovelumps and MissD have complained about how aggressive some of the guys were towards the models in Colorado when they went. One time Diesal and Sha and I were just standing around chatting and this young 19,20 y/o kid walked up who wasn't even a member of the site, and didn't know Diesal from Adam. He just sees that he's representing a gay porn site. So he walks right up to Diesal and says, "Oh hi..." And Whomp...grabs a handful. And I thought, "Oh my God. Could you be any ruder?" I wish I could say that it was only the very young gays who tried to manhandle models of the many adult sites represented there. But unfortunately that's not true.

I don't know about you guys but I thought all of this was fascinating. So many people who hear of or watch "gay for pay" porn (both straight people and gays) claim that all the models are secretly either bi or gay. So here you have a guy who has come forward as publicly as you can get..to say that's not true. Another myth is that all these straight guys who are hired are all hopelessly naive and being exploited. Here we have a former model who says that that's not true either. At least for him.

I am about at the end of the story as I can explain it to you. To keep following Dustin's adventure you need only watch his tv show for yourself to see how the rest of the Real World season plays out. This thread has gotten plenty of hits but few comments.

Anybody care to chime in with their own thoughts or opinions on what you've heard?

Tampa, I have read every word that you have written on this thread, and I do find it totally fascinating. From your well written narrative of what went down on the show, the only negative thing that I think of Dustin was his apparently over the top, negative comments that he made about gay's, to cover up for his own past actions. As has been said so often, the biggest homophobes, are the one's who have doubts about their own sexuality, and are symbolically bashing themselves.

But this kid seems to have his head screwed on right, and understands that he was not coerced into doing anything against his will. He did what he did, as he wanted the money, and I suspect because he wanted to try out gay sex, but needed a plausible reason to do it, without admitting to himself that he wanted it.

I need to figure out when MTV shows this program, and check it out for myself.

Excellent post, Tampa. And very apropos for this web site too. Thank you so much!!! :thumbup1:

Thanks Mike. I'm pleased that you have found this story as interesting as I have.

MTV airs the new episodes on Wednesdays at 10pm EDT. Fortunately they rerun prior episodes throughout the week. And they typically run a repeat of the prior week's episode right before they show you the new one. So getting to see last Wednesday's episode for instance should be no problem for you. I have it recorded on my DVR but haven't watched it yet myself. But I'm looking forward to it. lol

A little bit of a spoiler though from previews of the last episode that I haven't seen...is this. Remember that his gf (Heather) on the show was very very hurt and disgusted that a guy she had been dating and having sex with...had had sex with other guys. She is on record as saying that she has nothing against gay people but would never date a guy who has been or could be with another guy.

Keep that in mind as you watch the last episode especially.

Wow! That's more of him than I have ever seen. He's hot. And apparently he's done more than 1 site? Fratpad and Fratmen are not the same company. Are they?

I found those on JustUsBoys, a site that Mark now owns, in the celebrity news & gossip section. I found those on page one and there are ten pages on the thread regarding Dustin. It goes back to April 28, so perhaps there is more information and more hot pics of him there.

Fratpad and Fratmen are both owned by the same guy.

Tampa. I have been reading all of your posts as well and I can tell you that I find this guy super intriguing. I think by sharing his story and expressing his opinions about his experiences that he's educating people on something they don't really understand.

I happen to be very good friends with an ex model away from the site and have spoken to him about his feelings about he's treated as a straight guy doing gay porn. I know that he isn't as bothered by the groping as others, but it has got to get real old. I will tell you it offends me more to go to the pride events and see a total stranger get all grabby on a friend of mine. I was in New Orleans last year standing outside of a bar having a chit chat with this man in his 60s who didn't know I was a Broke Straight Boys fan or a friend to some of the models and he wouldn't stop going on and on about how beautiful their bodies are and describing in excruciating detail how he groped my friends dick and balls. I was literally ready to slap him in the face. But hey, to this munger, they do gay fucking porn right? So that is an invitation to treat them like pieces of meat. It irritates me.

I'm not sure where I am heading with all of that. I think with the amount of people who watch that show, some people who have never heard the term "gay for pay" will get to see a slice of someone else's life they might never have any other way. Maybe it will help break down the stereotypes that if you do gay porn you must be a homo and someone is taking advantage of you.
