I’m not sure he actually raped his own child. The ex wife accused him of that but since they dropped those charges it may not have been true. I think they would have hung him up by the balls if they could have proved that. The fact they gave him probation on the child porn charges with his record tells me it was not that serious. Nevertheless I believe he didn’t want to go back to prison and knew if he was arrested with a gun he would go straight to jail.
