Florida Eagle Cam

Has anyone been following the Eagle Cam in SW Florida? It's a cam mounted just above a Bald Eagle's nest where the female (Harriet) has laid two eggs. One has hatched and is about six days old, but the second egg has not hatched yet. The cam stays on 24 hours a day. I don't sit and watch it all day, but I do enjoy checking in several times to see what has happened. I think it is very interesting.

Cool. We had hawks nest one year on the high rise building I worked in. They raised a couple hatchlings whch was really cool to watch although they were a bit messy when they ate which turned some people off a bit. That whole cycle of life thing you know.

The status of the nest says, "Other egg is not viable." Does that mean the second egg will not hatch?

Sadly it does.
