Jayman:
Really it's three characters.... Lt. Felix Gaeta is the "regular", his boyfriend Hoshi (formerly communications officer aboard the Pegasus) and of course Admiral Helena Cain (from Razor). It's great that the writers producers had the balls to include it, but for now it's only on the webisodes. We'll have to see if it spills over into the last on air episodes. The treatment so far in the webisodes has been great especially the comments that the pilots were taking bets on when Gaeta and Hoshi were going to get together.......
It's kind of funny that this is happening now as Majel Barrett Roddenberry just passed away. Her husband, Gene, always wanted to have a gay character in the Star Trek world but Paramount had issues with the idea.
The truth will be known and if Gaeta is the 5th unknown cylon and is gay............??????????
As always, yours
Jayce
You're more than welcome.
I, too, will miss Majel. From playing Number 1 in the pilot to Nurse Chapel to Ambassador Troi to the voice of the computer, she really was a part of all the Star Trek franchise.
Gene did get an epsidoe in Next Generation to deal with the gay issue... Remember Riker falling for a "woman" froma planet of androgenous people and their treatment of the woman? They tried to cure her.........
I, too, don't want to wait for the future.
Be well Jayman.

So,Jayce is it?
OK, I like that! On the subject of our dear St Majel, don't you think that she and her husband Gene both knew what a gem they had in Sulu? Granted his character was not gay per se, but who can forget that scene in the "memory"
episode when Sulu appeared in the corridor outside the bridge of the Enterprise wearing only those tight pants and displaying a six pack from heaven! Waving that fencing sword he was as "Gay" as anything, definitely going where Paramount had not gone before. LOL

I'm sad that Majel is gone! She was hot! LOL!! I think it is so cool that Gene had Majel involved in so many episodes. All of them if you think about the computer voice. Damn, I'm getting old!! I also remember Sulu bare chested with the sword. I thought I was the only one who thought it was hot! LOL!!
Battlestar Gallactica is my favorite. I can't wait for it to start but I am super bummed it is the last season.
Mark
In 2010 there will be a prequel of Battlestar called Caprica which is supposed to take us through the years leading up to the destruction of the 12 colonies, so buck up Mark, more to come! Some of the cast is interesting as well... Esia Morales and Eric Stolz.
Maybe somewhere along the line I'll figure out what's going on for the tribes of humanity.
It has all happened before and will all happen again
Yours,
Jayce
Wow, thanks that is great news. Star Gate SG1 and Star Gate Atlantis are really starting to bore me a bit now anyway. Sanctuary, hasn't struck a chord yet. I do like Battle Star Galactica. I was spoiled from the 80's series special effects. So, the newer series is great. I just miss the pulsar cannon special effects. I guess the light show really set the stage for me. I kind of like the fact you could shoot a Cylon with a phase piston and put it out of commission in one shot.
All right Mark is a Sci-Fi fan too. Thanks again Jayce... Great info.
Who could ever forget Dirk Benedict in his prime? OMG! And the other actor too. They were both so hot. I couldn't decide which one I wanted more. I often wondered about the dark haired guy. I think he might play on our team.
Here is some information about the lost Star Trek episode. You can eve see a clip of the episode here.

Jayman,
Interesting. However, are they rewriting Star Trek history? Peter, aka Kirk's nephew, was in the episode titled "Operation Annihilate" and to the best of my knowledge he did not survive the alien attack. Therefore, was he resurrected for this episode?
