Right now I'm happy they moved on and I know their probably happy too. But what still "gets my goat" is the way they were treated from last August until they officially left! lots of bullshit if you ask me....

I know buddy...I know! But we also know just how that all went down....... contrary to what was said on Broke Straight Boys-TV "......let the viewers decide......" And then there's contractual stuff too....

While I don't disagree with you Peter (and btw, nice Avatar and I followed you back too! LOL), maybe their true potential has not yet been realized? It was obvious the "limits" set upon them here. As I watch two of my other favorites, Sam & Trent, they have no limits! They are also in their prime! I actually believe studios are seeking THEM out, not the other way around. So, timing may have been more on their side (while in their prime) with an abundance of followers they've establish while filming here. I think we are all just a little bit wishing we could keep them here and not have to share them with others' outside Broke Straight Boys ha ha ha!

I guess I'm like Tampa. I am on vacation for a week and I come home to read this. Mike, You did one hell of a great post. What a great way to do tribute to our two dear friends. I was always more a fan of Paul's. He had a very natural way to just having fun, no matter who he was with and what they were doing. His attitude was second to none. Damian too when action was called, he was all that and then some. Both of them knew what to do and make any scene with any model sparkle.

Mark, thanks for sharing with us what Paul was thinking. If we all take a minute, (or two for Johnny) it makes perfectly logical sence for them to want to try something new. WE all need a change of pace, so if there is an opportunity out there, why hold them back? Remember, they are young and if they see greener grass, it is only natural they try it out. Each and every popular model comes and goes. Tyler Evans Logan, Mike Robbins, Jimmy, Brandon, Blake, Ayden, etc. But we can say: THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES! For Paul and Damian we can be thankful for over 100 special memories.

It was disappointing to hear some posting that they were not treated well. Are we so sure? Paul did what some 65 scenes and Damian 47. Let me tell you something, Pauls's 65 scenes made him far more money in one year than I earned as a manger for Macys. For that matter Damian's 47 scenes would also easily top my salary. And let me tell you, I was at the high end of the salary scale. So I think they were treated very well. As for management doing some discpline, well, if I did something against policy, I too would be on the receiving end. If you work for someone, you need to stay within company guidelines/expectations. If you don't, then management is not in control and KAOS is supreme. They are "kids" and sometimes they do thinks rashly. And since what happens stays behind the scenes, as it should, lets not assume we know all the facts.

Lets also remember Vadium. He left for Greener pastures too. Perhaps not on the best of terms. Well as we sometimes all find out, the grass is not always greener on the other side of the road. He found that out, and asked Mark if he could come back. Mark took the chance and let him come back. Boy, did he come back! Who is to say that our beloved BOYS won't one day back down to Broke Straight Boys?.

Paul and Damian I wish you all the best as you explore what the world has to offer. May your relationship and love for each other grow.

Out of the models you mentioned that come and go only Jimmy went on to do more porn - the other's did not - Vadim Black was not mentioned in that initial list. Also regarding the guys being mega rich, I would disagree with that too. Paul's tenure at Broke Straight Boys was nearly 2 1/2 years, so it is probably less than 30 scenes a year. I truly suspect that the guys don't get paid too much for a scene (the amount David said he gave was all a game), so even if they got a thousand dollars a scene - which I doubt, that would mean approx30k per annum before tax. I guess Macy's don't pay too well then...

I did have a good vacation. Spent a week in Portland (not far from Peter). Weather was all sun, no rain. Just to clearify on the $ issue. I was comparing the # of scenes they made totally to my annual salary. If each scene took a day to film (most don't) then their respective 45+ or 65 + scenes (days) income again far exceed a year of work (2000+ hours). I am not saying they are mega rich, as young boys have a habit of spending money faster than saving money. Trust me I make far more that your recap before taxes. One last point, Tyler Evans did do some work at another studio after leaving David.

What a lot of folks miss (in concept anyway) is, some of these guys do porn as it's the acting that they get to do. Some sites ( like this one) who focus on a Gonzo Style of filming as compared to scenes where there is a story line (even if corny as hell) give the models a chance to play out/act/ a character or a scene. This is what the newbie was referring to in his interview.

I agree Betu. I'm surprised Johnny F. has stayed in the game for as long as he has. He never seemed to me to have very much drive or ambition to keep pursuing something like trying several different studios. That's a scary proposition for a young twenty-something guy nowadays. The perils and risks both emotionally and physically within the wider industry are not for the faint of heart. While I don't believe he's totally straight (if he ever truly started out that way), I do believe he is one of the straight-er gay-for-pay models we've had.

My thoughts on Paul are that he is one of the most handsome models in my opinion ever to grace us on Broke Straight Boys My earliest moment of loving him was in one of his early scenes where while sucking his partner, the camera panned to his pretty soft cock and we watched as it twitched and got harder and harder without him even touching it until it reached full erection and a pearly drop of precum appearing on the head. I fell in love with the dude right there.

But as time went by, and Paul began appearing in BTS, and writing on the forum, my respect and admiration doubled as I discovered that this incredibly handsome young man was also incredibly witty and intelligent. Damien was never my favorite model, but it is all a matter of individual taste, but I have to say that Damien Kyle is one of the most incredible self promoters I have ever seen, as he used social media brilliantly to build up his brand name, and became the best promoter for BSBT, even to the extent of playing along with a supposed "leaking" of an unauthorized trailer for the TV show all to help promote the brand.

I am confident that both Damien and Paul will use all their promotion on social media to bring many many paying customers to their new ventures and I also hope that they will be receiving a cut from the new company for all of their fans that they bring to the new company.

Thank you boys for the hours and hours of entertainment you have brought me here on Broke Straight Boys and I wish you all of the success possible into the future with your new ventures. Thanks guys and best of luck into the future!!!
