Farewell and Best Wishes to Paul Canon & Damien Kyle

I thought about this for awhile this morning and I'm really bummed these two guys have left. I started to get a nasty taste in my mouth the end of last summer when they were no longer being filmed and their posting rights were taken away. I can't believe all they did to promote themselves, Broke Straight Boys and the show and they were still treated like 3rd rated models. I think (my opinion) that the ratings and membership rose when these two joined the site. Even last fall when everything was unknown about their future (probably by them too) they still put on a smile and pushed Broke Straight Boys onto everyone through social media. Then to go out like this just leaves me a very unhappy member of a site that I used to love to go to everyday. I used to think that the mgmt had a heart unlike other sites, but I guess that is proven to be wrong :frown:

As I've always said to "the boys" Papi, wherever they go...I will follow....Men isn't one of my frequent sites to visit but Nextdoor is! As long as they're in a scene on either, I guess I'll be showing my support!:dancingpenis:

Don't ever change it, Beth.....it COULD be worth some money in the future!! :001_cool:

I don't know what to say, I'm at a loss. Both Paul and Damien have become, as my Avatar shows, more than just guys I love to watch and chat with. Both have developed a real sense of who they are, in their scenes, postings and on LiveChat. I will follow them wherever they go, but I do think it is very sad. Thank you Paul and Damien for all of your efforts.

My avatar too is of Paul. Before him it was Colin. They are here for a short time and go on. I guess this is a stepping stone that gets them going.

Yes it is confirmed that Paul and Damien Kyle have left Broke Straight Boys Paul explained it like this. I have been going to the same grocery store for years now but sometimes you want to try another grocery store. After both Paul and Damien Kyle doing so many scenes for Broke Straight Boys it makes sense that they want to try something different. We do wish them the best in their new journey. :)

As for Broke Straight Boys it is not going downhill at all. We have a new BluMedia Studios site going up next week that we have been working on for over 6 months. This will help getting new guys and fresh faces. We will also be shooting in multiple locations now with a even better 4k camera, brand new lights, brand new sets and brand new guys. Hang in there because all this is coming very very soon. We value your membership and your patience. :)

There is a thread called "Have you seen this?" or something close to that about Broke Straight Boys guys on other sites. It meandered around to someone posting about a blog which had an article about Vadim Black's leaving Broke Straight Boys and being an escort. Mark replied thusly on 3/6 at 6:17 am:

After I read Mark's post, I posted the following on that thread at 11:41 am:

'Thanks for that, Mark. Now can you speak to the other post on that blog that Paul & Damien are no longer with Broke Straight Boys? That matter is, I believe, of far more importance to more of us than is Vadim Black's. Thanks."

Given the subject matter of this thread, I thought this might be of interest. Let's see if there is ever a reply?

Thank you Mark for answering so promptly and telling us about the guys and why they made the decision. Makes perfect sense from their perspective. I know they leave with all the best wishes from us here on the forum, and I'm sure from you guys in management as well. We all had a good run together.

As for the future, I'm looking forward to the next iteration of Broke Straight Boys With the TV show behind you, I'm sure you will now have the time and resources to re-invigorate the heart and soul of BluMedia, which is Broke Straight Boys

Change comes all the time. Its what happens here and everywhere else in our lives. So be it. We miss the people who we get used to. Another choice of the format here might be limit the scenes to 5 for any model. If you can get more models for a 5 scene contract great. Thank you Mark you are doing a great job.

That is so sad, considering we had to wait until the TV series, to hear the confirmation of their relationship (which many member had already anticipated. But it appears change is here and I wish them both good will in all things that they move on and into

That is so true Joeychuck, and I find the older I get, the harder it is to accept change, but we have no choice as we move on.

Thank you for the message, Mark. I have been disillusioned in recent months concerning the site. It was a little over a year ago that I was downloading all the videos during the Dakota, Cage Kafig, Tate and Tyler era. Today, I can count on one hand the number of scenes I have actually watched in their entirety in about two to three months.

A change in scenery is good for the soul. I have my computer on my desk in front of a window that faces East. Sometimes I will put the computer on my piano bench so that I am facing West.

You mentioned patience. That is one of my best attributes. But, sometimes patience runs low and one turns in a different direction. However, it is this forum and the friends I have made here that have made me diligent in sticking it out.

I am looking forward to the next chapter in the life of Broke Straight Boys.

Peace,
Louis

I'm just finding this out while I have houseguests staying with me and no time to be online. I'm so sad to hear this. I'll respond more later.

*Shaking my head in sadness*

Disappointed that PC and Damien Kyle have moved on. But I think sometime parting of way is not such a bad thing. Despite some of the "crap" Damien Kyle said on a thread a started several months ago I was never mad about it. Forums and social media are too easy to take what someone says literally. I have fallen "victim" to that kind of BS myself. PC and Damien Kyle moving on is a hit to Broke Straight Boys But I think Broke Straight Boys is way more than just those two. Sure some of us will see it as a loss. But I am already a member of other sites that they are supposedly going to be on (and would follow if I weren't). As much as I like these guys and wish them a "professional" and personal future, Broke Straight Boys will continue and I will continue to be a member. I do not agree with many of the comments that stay Broke Straight Boys is doomed. Has there been a "low"... not sure... for me... overall no. Some weeks are not as good as others. But that's not different than any other site. I look forward to see how the future plays out... there are good guys already at Broke Straight Boys

I wish I could orient my room/office more like that, but its just not possible... still doesn't mean I shouldn't think that way... I need to remember it's also about a mindset! Thanks for that Louis!

I enjoyed reading this comment and agree with many of it's points! Paul and Damian were two very unique models who, during their time here were very instrumental in keeping a sense of "stay tuned" both for them as individuals as well as the site! They will be remembered and thought of fondly by many, just like some of the other great performers who've graced this site with their presence. Some of them were only seen in scenes and did no social media but, were great performers and very professional while doing what they do. And, as you say...Broke Straight Boys will continue! We need to wait and see who will be "the next best" entertainer/models for the site, and base it on their merits....and not compare them to others. IMHO.

I agree with much of what you say Betu, but for the time being I will compare the new models to Damien Kyle and PC as they are still in their "porn prime" and could have shot more scenes here before they moved on!!!

While I don't disagree with you Peter (and btw, nice Avatar and I followed you back too! LOL), maybe their true potential has not yet been realized? It was obvious the "limits" set upon them here. As I watch two of my other favorites, Sam & Trent, they have no limits! They are also in their prime! I actually believe studios are seeking THEM out, not the other way around. So, timing may have been more on their side (while in their prime) with an abundance of followers they've establish while filming here. I think we are all just a little bit wishing we could keep them here and not have to share them with others' outside Broke Straight Boys ha ha ha!:pornshoot::4755f044:

Right now I'm happy they moved on and I know their probably happy too. But what still "gets my goat" is the way they were treated from last August until they officially left! lots of bullshit if you ask me....
