Perhaps the confusion we are seeing here comes from the fact that the forum members who have expressed a dislike of Dustin base it more on his general demeanor than on his skills as a top. Yes, he takes control of the bottom and can be a bit rough on some, like Jason, but his rather surly attitude is an outgrowth of his percieved star status, and is very unbecoming of anyone looking to be popular in his line of work.
You have often heard me mention Dean who was a starting member of Straight College Men. He was a good performer, and had a decent attitude until he decided he could do better, and started telling others what to do in a scene, rather than take direction from, of all people, the director! The sweet personable guy everyone liked disappeared, and eventually , so did Dean, much as has occured with Dustin. It is sad, but apparently more common than not!
