I know
Broke Straight Boys has just had its fifth birthday but do we have to rehash all the old shoots going that far back?
I dont think any more needs to be added to the comments from the above posts, they speak volumes.
If this site is just going to put so many old shoots on here then maybe its time I had a rethink on my membership.
Sorry guys but since around the time of your birthday the normally high quality of films have gone down.......................
I too was disapointed with this scene as I had been eagerly awaiting its release. The fact that
Diesal was in it was all I needed. But even
Diesal could'nt save this one. To be fair, I have seen worse and I have seen better here om
Broke Straight Boys
Before we all go out and burn our membership cards though, we need to take a step back and look at the big picture.
Broke Straight Boys is a business, and like all business's, there are good times with high sales (ie:memberships) and bad times with slow sales. We would be naive to think that this economy has not impacted
Broke Straight Boys like it has impacted all business throughout the country or the world. I am sure there has been a drop in
Broke Straight Boys membership as people struggle to survive with reduced hours or wages in their jobs. Many have lost jobs that they held for many years thru no fault of their own. Those of us who are fortunate enough to have maintained our level of income may not feel the pinch that so many of our brethren have.
Broke Straight Boys, as a business, is simply doing what any smart business would do in this economic situation, have a sale and move out the old inventory (previously unreleased scenes) to keep the cash flowing so they can buy new inventory (new scenes with new models who now cost more money) to sell to us later on down the line.
Take this scene for example, good or bad, the models still cost 3200.00, not to mention the costs to get some models to the studio, production and equipment costs plus rent or mortgage for the studio and the wages and salary's of support staff. Does anyone know what the final cost for this scene would be? So, while this scene may not meet the standard of quality we have come to expect, and surely during good economic times, this scene , along with many others were not released because they did not meet the
Broke Straight Boys standard of excellance, they now meet the
Broke Straight Boys standard of necessity.
The alternative would be to raise membership dues, how many of us would stick around for that? I love
Broke Straight Boys, it is the only site I subscribe to now because it fulfills my needs and my fantasys at a reasonable price. I believe in
Broke Straight Boys's business model and I will continue to support it as long as they keep moving forward. Be optomistic, the best is yet to come!
These are just my thoughts on the subject, and no, I do not work for
Broke Straight Boys or BluMedia !!
Laterz,
