did u expect more

I'm glad you asked Tyler, as no one from management is currently posting. When Johnny Robins was doing the scenes, he became a very prolific poster, explaining his philosophy of shooting porn, "gonzo style" and he accepted criticism and tried to please the audience. Then Damian Christopher told us that Johnny got "sick" and that he was "filling in" temporarily and Damian began to post and answer questions, however most of his answers and explanations all seemed to lead to that we would see more and learn more when the TV show comes out. Speaking only for myself I wanted to hear about the models and the scenes now, and not about the TV show that still had not signed with any network or outlet for us to view it, yet.

So I appreciate someone on the Broke Straight Boys payroll asking about how we like the changes, and these are my feelings. I like the new way of hearing from the models before the scenes often answering off screen questions, in a similar manner that Damian has been doing the BTS. I believe that pre sex talk is important on Broke Straight Boys, to establish who these guys are, and their feelings about performing gay sex for our entertainment. But the typical questions and answering between models and director can get repetitive, and so this is a new way to accomplish what I consider a necessary part of the scenes. I also like that it is not always the same, with occasionally an off screen voice doing the post sex interviews and in the case of newbie Zak, I liked the one on one interview with the off screen, unnamed director, (Was it Damian or someone else?).

But technically the new scenes are not up to snuff. I've seen spots on the camera lens, missed cum shots and blurry faces. And the new set really sucks. It is distracting and unnecessary. I want to see a comfortable place for guys to have sex without fake beer, fire hydrants and pay telephones. Concentrate on hot guys having hot sex, and not dartboards and distractions.

I feel the should be an "after the scene" part with the models talking to each other saying what the liked. for instance saying, I don't like cock but it started feeling good and didn't want it to end type of thing. The interview in the beginning is stupid, just start the dam show already!

I do agree with Mike the new studio is too busy, even a typical "Man Cave" is more basic with just the essentials. I am guessing they were trying to bring the out door in. My opinion of the scene with Zeno Kostas and Sebastian outside was an awesome outdoorsy shoot, natural scene. I was never a favorite of the last studio (the very red on white).

Just a suggestion for new studio a glass house on wheels of cause tinted so the outside cant see in.

I do like the pre talks before the scenes, it is interesting and enlightening how the newbies can express there anxieties go into there scenes. However the more seasoned models should be able to express their mentoring skills now a reflection of what it first felt like and how you will and help the newbies can get passed these issues.

As some will now realize that I am more about personalities rather than the acts performed and these talks just need to either be prompted to get a fuller base of what is really going through the mind. I do like the ribbing chats at the end (as Mike pointed out repetitive questions.

eg: first oral scene - (Closing questions for newbies)

1 how was that for your first time?
2 Did it feel good for you?
3 Did you think you would ever do that?
4 If you continue? do you think it will become easier?
5 how do you feel now you have done your first oral, with a guy?

Closing questions for (Seasonal Models)

1 how do you think the newbie did?
2 could you feel there anxiety?
3 do you believe as a seasonal model you could have done more to make them at ease?
4 do you believe your mentoring as also up your game?

These are just example as I am an analytical thinker I am full of questions. (I some times think we put words into other people mouths,"it get better, or easier as we keep going") as everyone will deal with same situations differently.

By the way Tyler since you started this thread I just want to once again congratulate you on your present scene, your performance an attitude changed with the scene (You good) new Studio (Too Busy)

Hey Tyler, thanks for asking. I love the interviews before the scenes as you get to know all about how you models are feeling about the scene you've got to do and how you feel about what you have to do as well, but I do wish there was an after scene interview as well so you can see how you guys thought the scene whent and if it was how you thought it was going to be as the way alot of the time it just cuts of now feels to me like its unfinished. I also have to agree with mike about the quality of some of the scenes as well as some of the ones I've watched have been blurry at times during the scene which ruins the mood a bit for me and I do think that some things are being missed as well although in regards to that I can understand how hard it must be to try and film everything that each member wants to see as its impossible to please everybody at the same time. In regards to the quality side I think that if there are a few people that film different scenes then I think that they might all need to get together and discuss the consistency of the quality. I can only imagine how hard it must be to film so many different scenes with loads of different models but its the finished quality at the end that really matters as its the paying members that watch them. Regarding the set I have to admit I don't like it much as I was expecting a lot more from a site with such a good standard as none of it to me seems to go together, it just looks to me like there was alot of people in one room and they all decided on different things to put in there and they were without considering the finished set. I can understand the theme of it but sometimes less is more. Dan x

Terrible,Terrible Set. Looks like a club house for 10 Ten year Olds. Tacky and cheap. Nothing sexy about it at all.
Before interview awful. All these little boys talking about pussy, when you know your going to suck cock. Just seems silly.
Bring back the Old chair and bed. You asked, Just saying. And the camera work has been way way off.

With you 100 per cent there Johnny.

Hey, Tyler - - -

I am with the rest in not being a fan of the new set. It IS kind of busy, and as Jon said once, kind of looks like some sort of ersatz bar, that no one would ever go to, anyway ;-) *I used to help run a college dorm, and even I have never seen a room like that! LOL!!!* (Hey, if they are going to put beer out on the night-stand, they should at least let you guys DRINK IT!)

As far as the "pre-game show' goes. . . I was much more a fan of the old-style, have the cameraman interview the models together, sort of thing. I thought that that gave a bit of an idea of the feeling in the room, and the chemistry between the models. Whereas the recent solo pre-interviews neither do that, nor get very far into how the two models are feeling, individually - as the BTS interviews, do.

All that being said, Tyler, I'd like to tell you, personally, that I am loving your performances. I think you are one of the breakout new stars of Broke Straight Boys, so thanks for sticking with Broke Straight Boys Whenever you're in a scene, I always know it's going to be fun, and sexy. And, I look forward to them.

"A" XOXOXOXOXO

You're doing a bang-up job of that, Tyler!

Exactly right Tyler! As a model, you just concentrate on keeping the fans entertained. And any other issues are up to someone else to decide on or make adjustments to. haha

You are definitely a beloved model to me. xoo

I agree that the new set is too busy with visual distractions that take the viewers eyes and attention away from the models. Your eyes are just landing all over the place in the background. The fake beer mugs are not a favorite. The fake brick is okay. It's just overdone with too many props. Less is more. Things with writing on them are especially not a good idea to have on a set. Again, the viewers' eyes start wanting to read things rather than focusing on the models.

Did I do that? Oh my. I asked for a new set for so long, and now this is what we got. And I thought the notes on the wall were too distracting. This looks more like a game room in a Frat house. The only thing missing is the pool table.

GREAT IDEA: Maybe we could start a thread where the forum members can post pics of how the set should look.

TYLER: I love you. Anything you do is perfect with me. (BTW - your pubes are looking mighty fine!)

Between the set, The tats, Dakotas cap felt like I was watching a Saturday morning cartoon. Now don't get me wrong.
Nothing against tats. But it was all so busy missed the boys. How were they? No posts yet

Then heres one for you how can the fans enjoy your performance, when there is to much distraction surrounding you? of course you don't control the setting maybe you may want to mention these concern to the power that be?
