You are intellectually correct in everything that you say Ned. However reality is sometimes different from the way things should be. There have been many threads on the forum, perhaps before you joined us about kissing. First of all to call any model who appears on this web site "straight" is a misnomer, as if you have sex with another man you are no longer straight, but let's use the term straight to identify certain models as that is how they like to think of themselves.

I've used the example several times of a 20 year old kid that I met on the old phone party lines back in the 1980's. He lived in Glendale Queens, and hung out with a somewhat rough crowd, and totally identified himself as being straight. I would pick him up in my car and drive him back to my place. During our first encounter together, when getting naked he sucked me for a while as I was sucking him, and then he began to rim me for a long long time. On the next occasion that we got together, I tried to kiss him, and he used the same words that I've heard on this site by many of the "straight" boys, that kissing is "too intimate" for him to do with a guy, and he only kisses chicks.

I may not have a clear explanation as to why they feel that way, but it is a reality.

As I said yesterday in a reply to Abe, if kissing happens with a straight guy, organically, in the throes of passion, it is way hot, but if it is forced and part of every scene, I no longer believe the straight fantasy and lose interest in the scenes.

As we all want something slightly different in our men, and in our porn, and what you consider "boring" may be considered "way hot" by another member, so I believe that a variety of types of models, and types of scenes works best on a site like this to keep us all entertained, at least part of the time.

Mike, the more I think about it the more I think I agree with you. I remember a scene with Cousin Mikey (the tall, gay, dark haired one who claims to be Anthony's cousin), who is openly gay, and there was a scene where he was fucking another openly gay boy, and there was no kissing at all (which is typical of this Mike actually, he never kisses unless he's prompted to do so). It would also not be hot if ther would suddenly become spontaneous kissing in every scene, with every model.

I think the hottest scenario would be if there was more SPONTANEOUS, yet UNEXPECTED kissing more regularly. Kind of how it is in the Active Duty scenes. Those are TRULY hot, those boys are nearly ALWAYS straight in real life (and most of them were, or are active military), and there is NEVER any prompting to kiss. Either they do it or they don't. Sometimes they do, but more often than not they don't. But you never once, in any of the scenes, EVER hear Dink tell them to start kissing.

The thing I dislike about those scenes is they're almost always orgy scenes, rarely is it an intimate one on one scene with just two guys going at it.

I think that would be the hottest, if the scenes were somewhat like that.

However, guys like Daniel and Price and the like would never get through an audition on activeduty, they're way too twinky and effeminate and in the case of Price and his eye makeup, transvestite (or cross gender) like.

And to be honest, guys like Mike R wouldn't make it on their either because he isn't nearly muscular enough...and they would laugh at his horrendous tattoos. Most of the guys on activeduty.com have amazing ink, and have spent fortunes each on it.
