I have a female relative who did something similar. Around 24 y/o she was drunk, angry and punched her right fist into her car door. She actually didn't break anything, but it was badly bruised and swollen. Then she found that she could no longer do her needlepoint arts and crafts. For the rest of her life she's had arthritis in that hand that flares up off and on.

You are not the first to do something "dumb" like that. Former Yankee pitcher Kevin Brown broke some knuckles when he punched the dugout wall, and I'm pretty sure he was docked pay as it was an injury of his own doing.

I know how much you love to workout Damien. I'm sure this injury will affect your ability to do what you normally do in the gym too, but you are young and will heal quickly, and learn from your mistakes. That's what life's all about.

the funny thing is as i got dropped off by a taxi after i got released from the hospital i stopped at the dumpster and shared a few words....hahaha then i went home. but thats funny that u asked
