Damien Kyle Posting

Models who post on here are paid to do so. This causes me to wonder if their purported 'sincerity' resides in their hearts or in their wallets? They are paid to say what they expect subscribers want to hear for the sake of compliance and earning the extra bonus. This is their job, and they do it well enough for most, but not all of us are snickered into this ruse. For that matter, being this is an online forum, I am curious if the models are actually communicating with subscribers. Call me a Doubting Thomas, but my cynical disposition is alive and kicking here.

I agree that I would rather have a model post on the forums too much then not at all. When have we ever had a model post as much as Damien or show as much interest to all of us. I hope Damien never changes. But my only hope is that more models post and show that they care about us.

You gave Canon 500 points too many. A zero.

Mikeyank - Over the years I have generally found myself agreeing with you the vast majority ot the time but on this issue I find I do not.

if they get paid for it then i understand whey he post so much. its like the scene a lot of them have Damien Kyle in them to much of me dont like seeing the same thing over and over paul and Damien Kyle are one i just they have a lot of time on there hands and want to keep there name out there so they can keep making the money but we are talking about this so lol

Not to be rude or any thing but its no ones concern whether or not we get paid to post. what if i post on here to actually like staying involved & talk to the members? and im here all the time because i want to help you all as much as you all did for me by even getting me to return. But like i said earlier none of the models need to do this and even if we were getting paid to post dont you think there would be alot more models posting in order to make money....

Oh hell, let's all just get on here and have an orgy!:bump:

No need to apologize. No one should get offended if you meant what you said.
You have a good way about you and you can say anything in a nice way.

The verdict is in and based on the my friends on the forum's opinion, I apologize Damien. Perhaps Peter was right that I was grouchy because it is frickin' freezing here in NYC, my car has been buried in a block of ice, and I am taking the subway to work. I like to read the new posts before I leave in the morning, and the list seemed endless, so I snapped a tad. My bad.

My apologies to Damien and anyone on the forum who I offended. Post away Damien, and I can promise I will never say a peep again. You're a good man Damien who pleases his fans, and you have a loyal loving fan base here too. Like Jason, Blake and Paul too, I hope you remain a Broke Straight Boys for as long as your heart desires.

After seeing you get fucked knowing you get paid for posting is nothing in comparison don't you think?
just continue to be yourself and do what makes you happy.

Dearest mikeyank; unless someone makes a statement or comment that is totally based on false information or distorted facts, (which this was not) then, it's an opinion offered. There is no right or wrong. It was obvious to me, from reading the comments, there are various opinions to the comment, some don't see it the same and some who have a similar perspective. It's all about discussion! You voiced your opinion in a respectful way! Personally, I see it as a another way (though not it's intentional direction) for the models to see how much they are supported, especially when their "fans" make such statements of support! This is something that voting and numbers don't always capture! As peter commented, if I wasn't a supporter of TEAM Damien Kyle myself, it probably wouldn't have even caught my attention. If it were a model who really didn't hold my interest, I probably wouldn't have even responded at all! The positives can often be gained from something that was not meant to malign, or provoke another or a model. I think you know what I am saying (you can't make an omelet with it but, an ingredient is there). I hope all of the models continue to share on the forum! After all, they are a big part of what brings all of us here,....aren't they?

we all know it a business and in business you do what you can to make money that makes a good business man witch you are the more you are out there the more people see you some of the other models are just here to get the money and out they have family other jobs dont want to be out so much ever one is different some like ever one looking to them not a bad thing i am not saying you are a bad person your not

Holy mackerel, nobelegg ~ I'm an old man, but you're gonna wind up an even OLDER one, if you don't loosen up, and have some fun!

OF COURSE this is a business - it's "Broke Straight Boys", after all: and all our favourite models are here because they need to make a LIVING. Is that so bad???

IMHO, what separates the Broke Straight Boys from the Broke Straight SWEETHEARTS, is the intelligence and kindness they show in their posts. Damien, Paul, and Jason have been TOPS at this, I think. Whether they get a little gratuity for saying "hi", I don't know and I don't care - though I would say, if they were insincere, it would be obvious from their WRITING. Judge them by the content of their comments, not their temporary occupation.

Nobelegg - on most sites, the models don't post, and aren't ALLOWED to. I think it's a privilege and a joy that, on Broke Straight Boys, we get to have a little conversation with the models we like the most.

Nobelegg - I'm a writer. I get paid to write every word I write. (Except on here ~ which I do for fun, and for free - LOL!!!) But that doesn't mean that, even when I'm being paid, every word isn't honest, and true - and a reflection of my own true self.. As you hang around longer, and get to know Damien and Paul and Jason. . . and some of the other great models, here, you will get to know that so many of them are great people.

Nobelegg - of course I get where you are coming from. There is no doubt that (in general) the erotic-video industry takes advantage of the hopes and fears of gay people, hoping to get us to buy into fantasies, and simply buy more "product". But, I think, Broke Straight Boys has taken a higher path, in this regard - and has allowed (both on the message-board and on tours to many 'gay-pride' events) members to encounter and converse with the models, in a friendly and respectful way. I AM ALL FOR THIS, as I think it helps subscribers realize that a lot of the models are good people. . . and the models realize that not all subscribers are BAD people. This, I think, is all to the good.

Mike, you are lovely, and while I was initially a little taken aback by your initial comment, now I see where you were coming from, and you have proven very gracious in the ensuing conversation. (XOXOXOXOXO).

Damien Kyle, you are lovely too, and I hope that your enthusiasm for posting will NEVER be curbed. I LOVE hearing from you. And I could see a THOUSAND posts from you (and Paul, and Jason) each week, and it would never bother ME. I LOVE hearing your responses, ideas, and perceptions, and it is a huge privilege to get to know you guys a little better, on this board.

As my old friend Liberace (and HIS old friend, Mae West) used to say: "Too much of a good thing. . . is. . . WONDERFUL!!!" So, post away, Damien - - - if you post a NOVEL on here, I'll READ it!!!

Love to all,
"A" XOXOXOXOXOXO

Mr. Kyle, I have no doubt you may be a nice and kind person off-screen -- MAY BE. However, I am convinced while you are on the Broke Straight Boys payroll, your primary duty is to lure subscribers and keep them interested by feigning interest in them yourself; this is what you are paid for, so you are doing your job. I am one who is not taken by such manipulation and guile because my thoughts are generated from the brain in the attic, not the one in the gutter. This said, I am confident you have many fans and online followers. I, however, am not one of them.

Your right its not from the heart its from the wallet

That's the way I see it too Ambi. :)

Be careful not to get yourself too worked up though. I think that more times than not it just feeds more oxygen to the flame, if you know what I mean. It's not worth it and it won't change anything.

Ambivalent, are you seriously that gullible and susceptible to these guises? I understand this is a business, and these people are in it to make money, which is their option and right. I commend them for exercising this right, but I do not appreciate the overall deception that is being exercised. You see, I, too, knew Liberace, so you are not alone. Each June I visit friends out in Hollywood and take time to visit his grave out of respect. But this is another story. I say what I want because it is what I believe. I do not expect everyone to agree with me, though I do expect almost everyone to abhor me for being so vocal and persistent. I am not going to change because others criticize me. I am, however, going to stand my ground as you stand yours. I do not appreciate being deceived, which is why I take things to heart. As for me lightening up, it is not in my character, nor shall I invite it in. I am me, and am certainly never going to be anything close to what people on here want me to be. I do not kiss a person's bum just to earn his favour or pleasure. So there it is.
