Dear Damien,

You are one very cool dude who is very kind and sweet to those of us who participate on the forum, and we love to have you join us here to give your answers to our questions and to read you express your own thoughts on all things regarding this site. But for the last two days you must have posted several hundred times, on new, and old threads.

This forum has become a major hobby or even obsession with me over the last few years, and I always check in when I return home from work, and after waking up to see what's new and what the forum is thinking and commenting on, but now every time I log on there are countless, even excessive Damien posts, often on old threads, and you are often responding to comments made by forumites who have not even been around the forum for months or even years.

Why are you on this posting binge, Damien? I know that Mark told us in the past that models get paid for their posting, and I also know that you want to drive up your ratings by the fans, but quite honestly your excessive posts have dominated the forum so much that it is hard for me to read through everything to see what my fellow forumites have to say, and is taking away from my enjoyment of checking in on here.

I am in no way trying to be rude to you and your fans, but I just wanted to mention this as I feel the regular give and take on the forum has been replaced by "All Damien, all the time". I do want you to continue joining us and expressing yourself, but please give it some room to breathe, and comment when you have something you feel will enhance the forum experience, but too much of anything can be too much. Perhaps a solution would be for you to primarily make your comments on the "models posting" thread for Damien Kyle, and not on the other portion of the forum, so those of us who want to read your thoughts can find it right there, and those who want to read the forumites comments can find them in that section.

I sure hope that you can relate to what I'm saying and understand that I am in no way trying to be disrespectful to you, but just asking for you to pull back a bit. Thanks for hopefully reading my thoughts on this subject.

I don't see this the same way you do mikeyank. I think when some of the models (in this case Damien Kyle) have the time to post, it's an opportunity for them to catch up on post/comments since their last time. Obviously, they have other forms of media to pay attention to as well as, jobs and other life events that also require their attention. I know that when I am working 12hour days for long periods of time, I simply don't have the time to sit at my computer and read and respond to comments. When I get a break/day off, (recent snow day,) I may go through and read and reply to as many post/comments as I find of interest to me. If I see a model I enjoy is active on the forum at that time, I will take that opportunity to share my thoughts and views with them! Models bring a lot of insight to the forum about things members want to know (behind the scenes). I know that you like that kind of information too!

At least, this is how I see it!

I appreciate your opinion Betu, and if I am the only one who feels as I do, I will just learn to deal with it. I am totally in favor of everyone expressing their own honest feelings on all issues discussed here, and I certainly respect your opinions.

I too like to be on the forums. Some days I post on all those threads on the home page and even add a new thread. Some days I do one or 2 then other days Im not in the mood to respond so I just read them. Damien is like all of us. I welcome his thinking. Let him be as he likes. I wish there were more of us on here not just the select few who don't get turned off by the negativity that happens here so often.
I wish not only Damien but others tell us how they feel about what we write not just on things related to them and their scenes.
Damien Keep it up.

I understand what your saying Mikey, and if it was a model who I didn't care for I would probably 100% agree with you. But i do like Damiens personality and like some of us he likes to go back and read what happened last year or longer (as long as he knows that these are old posts) lol so I don't mind. Of course he's becoming a forum junky!!! :)

To be truthful, mikey, I have wondered the same thing myself. A few days ago there were a plethora of posts by Damien. Then the next day it was the same except it was Paul doing it. Then yesterday, Damien again. I figured they either had a lot of time on their hands and/or they were in some sort of contest to see who could post more.

I do remember hearing that in the past models were paid if they posted; but I also seem to remember recently one of the guys saying that they were not paid to post - so who knows?

As you know, I am not anywhere near the devotee to the forum that you are. But what I have taken to do with any multiplicity of posts by one individual is to look at the subject of the thread to which they are posting. If it is something I'm interested in, then I'll read the post. If not, I just delete it. But I'm sure that is easier for me to do than it would be for you.

i completely agree with you thats why i will not be posting again prob untill next month...sorry for all the posts i thought thats what people wanted from the models is to see them post but i mean i can completely agree when only one person takes the time out to post on the form it may appear to be to much considering no one else posts and me and ian are prob the only models that even decide to post on here. so once again sorry

As a new Forum Junkie I can understand Damien posting so much. But I have to say he posted so much. Made me pull back
a little myself. He seemed to be pushing for votes. But I like him rather he post than not.Just maybe not so much.
But then I never tire of Paul posting I could read him all day. I took a day off from posting yesterday though and just had to post
something. It has been so long. lol....

I find Damien Kyle's choice of which threads to posted comments to interesting. a welcome relief from the hate the guy with the camera posted to every thread opened.
while getting paid for posting, I think the model said he wasn't paid to say what he said.
so after getting Damien Kyle to jump into this forum thing there is a Rob Ryder limit as to how often to post.
I like seeing who resides within fortress Damien Kyle.

Keep posting Damien Kyle, mikeyanks just being grouchy because it's cold in NYC!!! lol I too would rather you post a lot then not at all.

Damien Kyle if you want to post DO IT don't be intimidated by the few complain. No need to limit yourself. BUT just to post with nothing to say is something else. You do have things to say. It's fine.

Wish I could take back my post.Something else I am learning on this Forum Not to say something just to say something.
Soon I won't be that new and won't be able to use that as and excuse.

NO offense to anyone but I dont really understand why its a big deal for someone to post alot. Isn't that what the forum is all about? I might be missing something though? Maybe because it's a model idk. Post away Damien.:laidback:

Look, I just think Damien is a forum whore...good thing I like whores!:001_wub: Did I tell you I have now posted over 3,000 times? Shit, I'm in some good company!:001_wub:

for excessive posting he should go to the chat with models section?

So glad that modesty and discretion don't keep you from tooting your own horn, even though everyone can see your number of posts under your avatar.

Dear Beth
Only Two thousand, eight hundred and thirty one posts. And I will be right up there with you.

The verdict is in and based on the my friends on the forum's opinion, I apologize Damien. Perhaps Peter was right that I was grouchy because it is frickin' freezing here in NYC, my car has been buried in a block of ice, and I am taking the subway to work. I like to read the new posts before I leave in the morning, and the list seemed endless, so I snapped a tad. My bad.

My apologies to Damien and anyone on the forum who I offended. Post away Damien, and I can promise I will never say a peep again. You're a good man Damien who pleases his fans, and you have a loyal loving fan base here too. Like Jason, Blake and Paul too, I hope you remain a Broke Straight Boys for as long as your heart desires.
