And this is an example of why these guys shouldn't be posting on here. How can you possibly talk about me getting words out of context when you can't even string a sentence together properly. Great Job Jon.......That is one of the things I was interested in myself, that and Architectural Design. Unfortunately my father went blind when I was 6, and passed when I was 15. So there was no money in the Household to help, no student loans, no pell grants, etc to help me realize that dream. So when High School was over I did the only thing I could do..I went and got 2 jobs to help my mother and to make a living for myself. My schooling came from OJT "On The Job Training and now in my late 50's I have worked myself in to a Plant / Operations Manager position. Now I know your asking yourself what the heck does my post have to do with your last post, well Sir it's this, I would have thought a Gentleman with your Higher Education would understand the fight that some of these young men are in. It's a fight for survival, just trying to make a living and get ahead, maybe go to college, maybe realize there dream.

Again I commend you for your accomplishments in life, but not everyone is able to realize there dreams as you have, but I think you have to understand that when a young person such as Tyler or Damien Kyle lash out in the forum they maybe doing so because there whole life they have been put down, stepped on, squashed, ridiculed, scared at whats around the corner, etc, and it's the only thing they no at this point in time. My father and grandfather had a great saying, It was simply this...You catch more bee's with honey than you do with vinegar....Meaning a few kind words go a lot further then acting like the South end of a North bound Mule.

People always assume that guys with good jobs did well at school. Well that is not the case with me Rafe. I got enough GCSE for me to get an interview for an apprenticeship with a well known UK telecoms giant. Passed the interview and underwent 4 years intensive hands on training mixed with college training too. The point I am making is that you can do well even if you flunk at school. I read on here about the USA kinda ignoring the guys that havn't done so well, which I don't really believe. In this day of age, you gotta stand up and be counted and shout and say hey this is me, and not sit back and wait for the lottery win. Hope that's clear.

First nothing against anyone please.. I just have to complement you on such a Beautiful post. My biggest regret in life has been my education. I always ( more than anything) wanted to be able to write.

I agree Johnny that Rafe really knows how to express himself beautifully and I'm so happy that he has gotten so involved here lately.
