That makes me happy to hear Johnny, as during the repetitive scenes of BSB2, I kept asking for exactly that, a mixture of scenes to fit into everyone's fantasies and desires at least some of the time. I understand that you weren't here or reading the forum during that "down period" of Broke Straight Boys, but I'm sure glad that you and I are on the same wavelength when it comes to offering a variety of types of models and of scenarios in scenes. I understand that my own personal preference of a very straight type, (like a Jimmy Johnson or a Mike Robbins or an Ayden Troy) is not everyone's idea of hot, so I asked for my type of guy and scenes at least some of the time to give me something to look forward to.

Nobody can hit a home run with every scene - you just do your best to set the stage, guide the models and get the best shots you can. The requests and desires from the members are all over the place and everyone has differing opinions...I've learned to mix it up and keep as many happy as possible. We are really building up a good stable of guys - much better than when I first arrived- it takes patience and a LOT more work behind the scenes the. You would think...I'm really happy with how far we have come since my start and truly believe we are on the right path to having great scene after scene moving forward - couldn't be happier working with the team I am with - Mark, Shannon, Damian, Sabrina, Chuck, Bryce....we have all come together and are really working great together- I love our team and proud to be a big part of it!!!

Thank you for another great post Johnny. I for one am very happy with your work here. I also appreciate the courtesy and professionalism of a great director who is willing to share credit with all the other wonderful coworkers who make the site great.

You are quite right that there are bound to be some flops every now and then. You can't win them all. On a site that prides itself on using only amateur new talent, it makes it that much harder to hit a home run every time. As the director you can lead the horses to water, so to speak...but you can't make them drink it. lol You can bring good looking models to a set that is well furnished, well lit and well miked for sound. You can give them a very good script with well thought out choreography. You can't however guarantee or manufacture chemistry or passion.

You can try to calibrate the level of passion if they start overacting. You can try to coach them if their affect is too flat. You can encourage them and console them if they are nervous. But ultimately there are times when the chemistry and passion is just not there and there's very little or nothing for you as the director to work with, other than the choreography and pacing of the scene. Such is the business of always working with straight or straight-er gay for pay amateur models. Every day you're being asked to reinvent the wheel by training inexperienced newbies in the ways of the business.

Jon, I know this is one of your pet peeves, (and always has been) about discussing a scene before it's released, but to me that's all part of the fun of being on the forum, just as movies or new albums by musical acts are all discussed before their release by fans. I do intend to continue posting the still photo from upcoming scenes that have me psyched. And what is the worst thing that could happen if the scene is a flop? We comment on it and move on. To my sensibilities it is not a problem at all.

I agree Jon, but as a "fanatic" (fan) of the site, I think it's cool to discuss Broke Straight Boys past, present and future. It's all good fun to me.

Ummmmm, did anyone else see that glitch at 3:47? I'm thinking it may just have been a poorly edited segment because it cut from Damien sucking Ayden's soft cock to Dakota sucking Damien's hard cock and then panned over to Ayden and Damien again. And there was definitely a millisecond of black screen before the scene resumed. Weird.

So you travel from Ft Lauderdale to Denver, Co each time a movie needs shooting. That must be a lot of air miles you're clocking up dude.

You will NEVER see someone standing alone and off to themselves and not connected to the action for one minute of ANY scene I direct- whether it's 3,4,5 or 6 guys....they are ALL always connected throughout the entire scene. I agree that is a big problem with bigger scenes and commonly occurs but you will never see that in a video produced/directed by me. Three ways and orgies can be really hot but just like a regular scene, chemistry plays a big role in that outcome- I know how to set that up for success...sometimes it comes out better than others but I always hope to finish with a product I can be proud of.

I didn't take offense...I was more agreeing with you about typical three ways and someone being left to themselves...I try to avoid that with some extra planning, keeping everyone connected
