Roberts Gay bible class

Why vandalize a wall? What did that white wall did to you? Why blame a fat person?

Direct your energy at Dan Cathy. He thinks God hates gays, or at least should not marry. But Dan Cathy is not very intelligent to be honest, because the bible is not anti-gay at all.

Even anti-gay bible researchers agree that the Old Testament context of Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 is Molech worship and shrine prostitution. What Leviticus says is not about gay people that love each other, in a relationship at all. It's about a second God, a Pagan God called Molech. Gay sex was used in Pagan rituals those days. They abused slaves sexually, pedophiles, foreigners got raped and pagan fertility rites.

The word Sodomites? 48 times the bible mentions Sodom. Not once in all 48 versus God connects homosexuality to Sodom. These anti-gay Christians abuse the bible!

Jesus mentions Sodom in Matthew 10:15 and 11:23, Mark 6:11, Luke 10:12 and 17:29 - and guess, not once he speaks of gays in connection with Sodom. If gay people were that sinful he would have!

Dan Cathy wishes that Jesus at least would have bothered to condemn homosexuality once. But the truth is Jesus never said one bad word about gays at all!

2000 years ago, in the Aramaic language one did not use the word gay, or homosexual. The bible addresses gays as Eunuchs or Saris (Eunuch in Hebrew)

There is one thing Jesus says in the bible about us gays.

Matthew 19:11-12

[SUP]11 [/SUP]Jesus replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. [SUP]12 [/SUP]For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”

This chapter is about marriage. In this particular verse Jesus explains to his disciples that there are three natural groups that are not bound to the covenant of Adam and Eve. Natural born gays, people with birth defects or castrated people, and third priests; like Jesus himself did not marry for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus was a Eunuch too! What he says is that gays do not have to marry a woman, nor those with a physical problem, or priests. They are exempted by nature from a marriage with a woman.

Robert, thank you so much for all that research and explanation. It is something that I have known for a very long time, in my heart.

I don't have any problem with his statement and his right as an American to hold that position. My only concern is how an intelligent individual can take the Bible as a literal translation of the Word of God. Unfortunately there are too many people who do. As most of you know I do not believe in religion for this very reason and I firmly believe that God scratches his head and asks "why aren't they getting the point"?

Give Dan Cathy a good hug!

Just send Dan Cathy, and gay bashing Christians to bible class. They do not understand the bible at all. This book is not about hate and intolerance at all. The new Testament is so special, because it introduces the teachings of love into philosophy.

The old Testament is the Torah, God and his covenant with the Jewish people. In the new Testament Jesus offers a new deal; for all of mankind. The most important law according to the teachings of Jesus Christ: is to love God above all, and your neighbor like yourself.

Dan Cathy does not know how to love me. He is afraid. He's a man. Just a man. And I had very many man, in o so many ways. He is just one more. Let him lay down, and I will massage his shoulders. Dan Cathy should not be afraid of my manly love.

Reversal of Chick-fil-A view on Gay Marriage and supporting Anti-Gay groups

Chick-fil-A agrees to stop funding antigay groups, Chicago alderman says

By Dylan Stableford, Yahoo! News

Senior Media Reporter| The Lookout – Wed, Sep 19, 2012.. .

Chick-fil-A, the fast-food chain that sparked a firestorm earlier this year after its president made public comments against same-sex marriage, has agreed to stop funding antigay groups, a Chicago alderman says.

Joe Moreno, the alderman whose opposition of a proposed Chick-fil-A on Chicago's north side helped fuel the controversy, told the Chicago Tribune the company has pledged to include a statement of respect for all sexual orientations in a memo to staffers, and has promised that the WinShape Foundations, its not-for-profit arm, would no longer contribute money to groups that oppose gay marriage. Moreno said he will recommend that Chick-fil-A's construction plans be approved.

"Last week, I met with Chick-fil-A executives for the second time this month," Moreno said in a statement on Wednesday. "These meetings cap 10 months of negotiations with the company over concerns about fair and equal hiring and serving practices within the company. Before now, Chick-fil-A had no formal message as it related to the fair treatment of all citizens in our great democracy. Now, for the first time in the company's history, Chick-fil-A provided an official company document, which clarifies their new policies to ensure equality at Chick-fil-A facilities."

The memo, "Chick-fil-A: Who We Are," will be distributed to all corporate employees and restaurant operators, encouraging them to "treat every person with honor, dignity and respect—regardless of their beliefs, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender," Moreno said.

In a letter to the alderman, the company wrote that WinShape is "taking a much closer look at the organizations it considers helping, and in that process will remain true to its stated philosophy of not supporting organizations with political agendas."

Since 2003, the nonprofit has donated millions of dollars to groups that promote "traditional marriage," including Focus on the Family and the National Organization for Marriage. According to the Civil Rights Agenda, a Chicago-based LGBT advocacy group that worked closely with Moreno, Chick-fil-A executives "clarified that they will no longer give to anti-gay organizations."

A Chick-fil-A spokeswoman declined to comment to Yahoo News but forwarded a statement the company made in July:

"The Chick-fil-A culture and service tradition in our restaurants is to treat every person with honor, dignity and respect —regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender," the statement reads. "Going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena."

Earlier this year, Dan Cathy, Chick-fil-A president and chief operating officer, said in a radio interview that "we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say, 'We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage.'

"I pray God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about."

In an interview with the Baptist Press, Cathy doubled down on his stance against same-sex unions.

"Guilty as charged," he said. "We are very much supportive of the family—the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that."

The comments sparked protests and counter-protests at Chick-fil-A stores.

The company, founded by Dan's father, Truett Cathy, in 1946, has a history of "unapologetic social conservatism," as the Daily Caller put it. All 1,608 of its stores are closed on Sundays, a day of rest for most Christians.

The WinShape Foundation gave $3.2 million to groups that advocate against same-sex marriage between 2008 and 2010, according to ABC News.

I'm suprised that nobody has commented on this. But you all do realize of course that the couple in the picture here, so happily promoting their anti-gay marriage stance, is none other than Sarah Palin and her husband Todd...right? She never misses an opportunity for self-promotion. In her own mind she still thinks she has a shot at the White House someday.

I think its just an internet meme pointing out that, in McCains opinion, she was the lesser of 2 evils 4 years ago...

She is presidential material (in her own mind). She chooses to promote a "healthy" greasy chicken joint just because she is anti gay. Mrs. Obama, have you been misleading us with your health awareness program? NOT. Nobody ever died from heart disease or diabetes from being GAY. SHAME ON YOU SARAH. Anything goes for a potential vote, right?
