Ricky did his solo and the normal progression, as stated at the beginning of the film, was to do oral. BUT, Ricky then tells Sha that he is gay just 24hours after the solo, so they decide to shoot this scene just one day after the solo. This would not be sufficient time for both guys to get tested and so condoms are used.

That would imply that even presumably and nominally straight Cage Kafig wasn't tested before doing a scene. However I'm pretty sure that all of the models are tested as soon as they arrive. Before they film any scene with another model they already have test results, or else the whole expensive testing regimen is a farce. Anything less than complete testing and having the results of everyone before any scenes are performed, would be irresponsible. And that's putting it mildly. That's true whether the scene is going to involve a condom or not. Can you imagine any reputable porn company saying that they knew a model was hiv+, or they were unsure about his status, so they had them all kiss, do oral and then intercourse anyway? And that since they made the topping model wear a condom, it would all be 100% safe? Talk about a disaster waiting to happen...

I am really amazed at how beautiful Cage Kafig's eyes are. I don't know if it's the longer that's accenting them or what. But he just looks so much more handsome right now than I remember. And it's not like he's a new model to us. We've watched him over a long period of time.

I am sorry that I may come across shallow and I am sure Ricky is a nice guy. But his declaration and for Broke Straight Boys to continue his scene here killed the scene for me before it started. Dont keep your mouth shut Mikey, it's good to have your opinion stated although many times we disagree. Due to circumstances beyond our and Broke Straight Boys's control (lack of straight guys) then this situation may become normal. Perhaps you Americans should go out on the streets with leaflets advertising for Broke Straight Boys models. As you're all from different parts of the country it would give a good understanding of how many straight guys are out there who want to do this kind of porn.

Also there was a wide array of xxx bookstores with movie booths where you could meet and hook up. The guys even had a dorm area to sleep and rest in above a video arcade store. Then there were the plethora of gay bars and clubs where they use to hang out at night and into the hours of the am. By the mid-90's that was all gone. Most of the guys either aged out of the system, were in jail, or dead. And there was not another "class" behind them. The Cultural Trust bought up all the xxx bookstores so they disappeared. And Pittsburgh, unlike other cities in which I lived or traveled to (NYC, SF, DC, LA, Miami) never had much of an "escort" scene where guys would advertise themselves or through an "agency" as escorts. And from friends in various cities now report that the scene has changed in their areas as well to varying degrees.

So I can understand why and how Broke Straight Boys might be having trouble finding young, hot straight guys who want to do gay porn; in essence, hustle. We're both walking contradictions. haha I want to believe some of my favorite models are straight when viewing them onscreen, even with anything ranging from scant or substantial evidence to the contrary.
