I don't usually mention how I vote on a scene, but this was a "5" for me too. Damien has been around for a while now, but I enjoyed him more than ever in this scene as Johnny seems to have brought out his true personality more than I've noticed before, and Cage Kafig is becoming one of my favorites on Broke Straight Boys in recent memory. He has such a hot body, and a handsome face too, and I like his personality as well.

Damien and Cage Kafig acted like real straight guys having gay sex for money, no fake kisses on cue every three minutes, but rather a couple of hot healthy twenty year old guys going at it sucking and fucking and cumming. This is more like what Broke Straight Boys used to be, and should be in the future, to my sensibilities.

Great job by Cage Kafig, Damien & Johnny, yes Johnny as he brought something out in these two that I hadn't seen before.

Loved the banter. Damien and Cage Kafig have both made it clear that they try to please their fans with the work that they do here! They have similar body structures. I gave it a 4. I enjoyed the first 20 min of the vid. The banter, the blow jobs and the fucking were great, the only thing that Cage Kafig could have done that would have sent me over the top is to look at Damien Kyle and said hey boy going to make you my "Bitch". I agree that I was totally into the scene up to that point too when Cage Kafig said, "I'm gonna cum" and ripped off the condom to jerk off. I wished he would have shot right then. Hi All - I had a completely different take on what I expected to be a thrilling duo. Taste is of course all subjective. Once again the excessive, off-putting 7 minute commentary from the dreadful director deflated the scene (and put Cage Kafig on the defensive). The hostility towards the cameramans work is ablaze again on the video bulletin board. I remain a happy fan of Broke Straight Boys But I am aghast that even a potentially sensational match-up between two stars was very good but could have been much hotter. Cage Kafig! Damien! Guys who usually exhibit lots of passion, no kissing, a premature ending. Sigh.

I thought there were several nice things to mention about the camera work and positioning of the models. I enjoyed the close-up view from the floor as Damien blew Cage Kafig on the chair. I also liked the fact that Cage Kafig was resting his balls and dick on Damien's knee as he went down on Damien in the chair. I enjoyed a lot of the banter before the scene started. It did give us a greater sense of their personalities. I did get the sense that even though they are very different people and they're competitive, that they do actually like each other.

Still, I would have preferred less talking from the director as the scene progressed. Overall though both guys gave a great effort and gave us a good scene. I was quite pleased with it.

someone catching Broke Straight Boys for the first time would come away believing that they had watched two straight boys having gay sex. the banter added to that belief. Damien is more fun when he is not tried or hungry. Damien and Cage Kafig performed well.
Johnny realizes this episode in a way that i found entertaining! good camera work. I don't mind the hand. during the action i like to hear only the model.

I like both Cage Kafig and damian although I could do without Cage Kafig's tats - why ruin a beautifule body with such hideous markings - he must want to be a Maori, Although I liked the video, it was ruined for me by a horiible audio that topped, started, missed, ragged and so on. Checked my settings and all seemed right but for last few videos with new director/cameraman, audio has been bad! I enjoyed the scene entirely and thought Cage Kafig and Damien both did yeoman effort. I do not get the excessive criticism of Johnny made by some concerning the scene. I certainly do not think he put either of the two off by his banter or direction. As for the ending, it could have been a little tighter but it was not a game killer for me.

Do I like to see some kissing, a little salad get tossed or even some toes get sucked? Sure but it needs to work in the scene. If it looks all hokey then forget it. Those are calls that are made by a good directer working with his models and knowing what his models can and cannot do effectively in a scene.

All I see is a beautiful pair of healthy young men but, I especially appreciated Damien's personal honesty in expressing his inner feelings as Cage Kafig was fucking and Damien was doing his best to encourage the intensity of the moment even further. I think Damien Kyle is the most honest of all models expressing his real feelings and I applaud him for his not holding back.

Sure, but then on the other hand, the threesome with Damien, Cage Kafig, and Paul received a 4.58, which seems right in line with where a threesome with very popular models should be. So I don't know if it's really fair to say that "Johnny's having a [negative] impact" based just on the rating for this scene.

Also, Ian and Tate's scene scored a 4.49, which is kinda low for those two models but not beyond the pale. I think we need at least a few more scenes as data before we can really draw any conclusion about Johnny's impact on the ratings, if any.

For instance, I'd say one potential explanation for the low ratings is what I'm going to call the unhappy ending, where Cage Kafig said he was going to come and then started to jerk off instead. The low rating could be Johnny, it could be the unhappy ending, or it could be a bunch of other things (like the condom). It's just impossible to tell after only three scenes, two of which were right where they should have been, is really my only point.

putting the viewer "ratings" into perspective

I've often said that too many forum posters give the viewer "ratings" much more credence than I believe they deserve. I just checked the last 13 episodes released since November 13, approximately one month's worth of scenes. I did not count the newest scene as it has only been out for less than twenty four hours and checked the number of members who've voted on each scene. The lowest is the JJ solo on November 27, where 112 votes were cast. The most is the Romeo & Cage Kafig scene on November24 with 236 votes. The average of these 12 scenes is 170 votes per episode.

My point is that I would have to imagine that there are a lot more than 200 members of the site, and that most of them do not vote. We were told by a member of the staff within the last year that the most important statistic for them to judge the popularity of models and scenes is the "hits" per scene which we are not privy to. The one's that are watched the most are the true ratings winners.

So please don't take the viewer ratings here with the same sense of importance as television ratings which are scientifically conducted, whereas these are random fans who decide to vote. It does mean something, but not as much as many perceive that it means.
