Good post. This has been discussed before that arguably bisexual men are the most looked down upon and discriminated against members of the LGBT community. The straight bigots don't believe them and call them gay, and, unfortunately, many gays join the straight bigots by also not believing bisexuals and calling then gay as well. The Kinsey scale as a word for a perfect "5" on the sexual orientation scale, and that word is bisexual.
What a great post and so true. I think, in my opinion, it depends on the era your from. I think older gay men 45 and upwards still have a one-way thinking mentality that if a guy has sex with another guy or at least experiments sexually with another guy, then both guys are gay. I believed this myself growing up. I knew there was bisexual men and women out there, but for me growing up if a male and male or female and female had some sort of sex and where married or had sex or relationships with the opposite sex, in my mind, they were homosexual. I was one of those people that would argue, if a man has sex with another man and yet also has sex with a women or in a relationship with a women and has sex with another man on occasion, that man is gay or in the closet or fooling themselves and there was no way of convincing me to think otherwise.
I think, in my opinion, older gay men come from a time where being homosexual was a sin, immoral, illegal and not part of the "norm" and we were considered mentally ill. This stigma has been ingrained in our minds so to accept that you have sex with another man, was something you hide and didn't want others to believe. While there were many gay proud men out in the community standing up for gay rights, there were still millions of gay men on the closet some having sex with females and starting families only to come out of the closet later on in life while others that were bisexual had sex with both and can fall in love with a women as easily as they can fall in love with a man but back then it was still considered immoral and not part of the "norm". Based on the Kinsey Scale, you have guys that are bisexual but more on the straight side of the scale and they can have sex with other guys, but not fall in love with another guy...its just sex for them and at the end of the day, they fall in love with a women.
This is the stigma we grew and the environment we grew up in if your 45 and up as a gay man in our society. Its wasn't easy being gay.
In my experience in life, I had sex a few times as a teenager with other guys but they grew up and got married and have kids, as a young adult, the same...I had sex with other guys that I find out later in life they are married and have kids.
Then I get this opportunity to film this site called
Broke Straight Boys, and by filming this site, I've learned a lot more about sexual behavior and terms that I never knew about...like gay4pay? By filming
Broke Straight Boys site, I've learned so much about sexual behavior that I did research and found out about the Kinsey Report (and to my amazement, a move was made about him and his wife) and there studies regarding human sexuality and I found it was very interesting. If Kinsey was alive today and was in my shoes filming
Broke Straight Boys, this guy would have a field day with all the guys that I've filmed over the years and learned about there sexual behaviors and what makes these guys "tick". Its a very interesting topic and debate.
Back in the early days of BSB1.0, these guys were not 100%, but they were bisexual more on the straight side experimenting with there own sexuality and making money along the way. This was my mantra, for years back on the old days. As time went on, a lot of them were just about doing it for the money, some guys thought they can film and make money to only find out this was not for them. We had guys throw up, we got guys that cried, we got guys that needed the money so much they did things they never thought they would ever do, and some did it once and never to return back again (as they told me, it was fun but not for them and they can't see themselves having sex with guys) it was a learning proccess.
Then there were the days (9-years) I didn't film
Broke Straight Boys but I still filmed porn and I was still filming
College Boy Physicals and for other site owners I was filming and I notice, times were changing, attitudes were changing and within those 9 years, many of these guys claim to be bisexual, and they are doing it for the money. In those same years, gay rights and being homosexual was becoming a lot more normalized, we got gay marriage and rights as gay man and gay men and women, are more normalized and tolerated in our society.
As the gay community got normalized, the transgender movement came along. Everyday, you here about transgender. MTF (Male To Female) and FTM (Female To Male) and now they are fighting for there rights and if its moral or not...If your born a male and you have male genitals, you can dress up as a women but your still a male...and vice versa for females and now the new era has brought on this new argument in society about Transgender people and there rights and a person.
Then you have bisexual boys/guys that are accepting there sexuality and many of these guys are now comfortable doing porn and social media and these guys are getting bashed on both sides, from the straight community and from the gay community...heck we see it here right on the
Broke Straight Boys site. I will film a bisexual guy, we will tell his story about his life and because he has sex or bottoms for the first time or whatever, here on the
Broke Straight Boys forum that model gets bashed, we as the studio are called "liars" and we get bashed for it just because we hired a bisexual guy having gay sex and he tells his truth. Then these same guys capitalize on there looks and open a onlyfans site and have sex with other guys being gay or bisexual and again the bashing starts again.
Now I know some are going to say, we only bash because there are truly gay guys on
Broke Straight Boys and yes...your right and I agree. Gay guys should NOT be on the
Broke Straight Boys site. We can match a first timer bisexual curious straight type guy with a gay guy, but not two gay guys together so I agree with you guys about that and that is another topic. I am writing about the non-gay boys on
Broke Straight Boys
When I have the guys sitting around and when we are eating dinner, I learn a lot about the younger generation. Today its so different then when I grew up and the terms they identify themselves is amazing and confusing for me. I've learned about Transgender, CIS Male, Him/HER--they. Using the term gay is offensive now, there is so many so I ask each of you to please, when you watch a scene on
Broke Straight Boys, just don't argue that these guys are gay, most of them are not and they are just bisexual, even if you find them on social media having sex with other guys, most of them just like the guys I filmed for BSB1.0 are experimenting with there own sexual identity, there own bisexuality and such. Since I have been filming
Broke Straight Boys for the longest time, I can tell you with all my heart, even back in the day with BSB1.0 most of those guys are now married with kids and this was just away to have fun and make money but as they got older, filming gay porn is no longer for them. I just like the guys today, we will hear from them in 5-10 years from now and they will be married with kids and this was just something they did as a younger man to make money.
Thank you guys for letting me Vent about this subject as I think we are all passionate about this particular subject and
Broke Straight Boys has really brought this topic to the surface and I think this is why
Broke Straight Boys is a unique site compared to other sites.
