BTS - Getting to know Charlie Knox

I too have known guys who are married to women who appear gay. But Broke Straight Boys is not the real world. This is a porn site that I joined to get sexually excited by guys who fit into my sexual fantasies. The reality of a guy who turns me on during a scene is irrelevant to my sexual excitement. If I find him attractive and in my mind he appears straight, whether he is truly straight away from the site doesn’t affect my sexual excitement. As I’ve said many times, for me Broke Straight Boys is a fantasy site set in a reality format.

Well said Mikeyank.

well we have a few differences on what to expect here, but I agree completely with Broke Straight Boys not being the real world. Lol. Right? I don’t pay those people a monthly fee, I pay Broke Straight Boys a monthly fee. The title says “Broke Straight Boys”. I don’t think it’s too much to ask to expect that, and if you’re going to provide such an “open forum”, I don’t see why it’s such a big deal if we discuss the lack of “straight” boys. I have never cared if the site hires gay models, but the pairings could be more selective, imo. Especially if there are only 4 models in at one time. There have been a couple of times that casting has been way off.
I know and have known many effeminate men that are married to women, but some of them did come out later in life when the kids were grown. Some have flirted with me and are still married to their women. So I don’t know how I feel about that. Yes, I think it’s possible that an effeminate man can be straight and marry a woman, but I also believe that many of them are full of shit.

I didn’t mention that before Jay, but I have found the same thing. Many years ago when I was in college one of my dorm friends had his high school buddy come to visit for a weekend. We all thought that this dude was gay. We asked our dorm friend and he said that George was bisexual. We all kind of laughed and thought, okay he calls himself bi but we thought he was very gay.

I lost track of my college friend but met up with him again and he told me he was still friends with George and that he was married to a woman for over thirty years and I thought to myself that I was wrong. Fast forward to two years ago and I found out that George’s wife had sadly died of cancer. He started going to a bereavement group and he met a gay man who had lost his partner and now today at age 70, George is in a same sex relationship. Go figure.

Good post. This has been discussed before that arguably bisexual men are the most looked down upon and discriminated against members of the LGBT community. The straight bigots don't believe them and call them gay, and, unfortunately, many gays join the straight bigots by also not believing bisexuals and calling then gay as well. The Kinsey scale as a word for a perfect "5" on the sexual orientation scale, and that word is bisexual.

I will reiterate why I joined this and all such sites FZFCOR GOOD SEX PERIOD! Differences in how a member perceives a model run the gamut as in all things.

What a great post and so true. I think, in my opinion, it depends on the era your from. I think older gay men 45 and upwards still have a one-way thinking mentality that if a guy has sex with another guy or at least experiments sexually with another guy, then both guys are gay. I believed this myself growing up. I knew there was bisexual men and women out there, but for me growing up if a male and male or female and female had some sort of sex and where married or had sex or relationships with the opposite sex, in my mind, they were homosexual. I was one of those people that would argue, if a man has sex with another man and yet also has sex with a women or in a relationship with a women and has sex with another man on occasion, that man is gay or in the closet or fooling themselves and there was no way of convincing me to think otherwise.

I think, in my opinion, older gay men come from a time where being homosexual was a sin, immoral, illegal and not part of the "norm" and we were considered mentally ill. This stigma has been ingrained in our minds so to accept that you have sex with another man, was something you hide and didn't want others to believe. While there were many gay proud men out in the community standing up for gay rights, there were still millions of gay men on the closet some having sex with females and starting families only to come out of the closet later on in life while others that were bisexual had sex with both and can fall in love with a women as easily as they can fall in love with a man but back then it was still considered immoral and not part of the "norm". Based on the Kinsey Scale, you have guys that are bisexual but more on the straight side of the scale and they can have sex with other guys, but not fall in love with another guy...its just sex for them and at the end of the day, they fall in love with a women.

This is the stigma we grew and the environment we grew up in if your 45 and up as a gay man in our society. Its wasn't easy being gay.

In my experience in life, I had sex a few times as a teenager with other guys but they grew up and got married and have kids, as a young adult, the same...I had sex with other guys that I find out later in life they are married and have kids.

Then I get this opportunity to film this site called Broke Straight Boys, and by filming this site, I've learned a lot more about sexual behavior and terms that I never knew about...like gay4pay? By filming Broke Straight Boys site, I've learned so much about sexual behavior that I did research and found out about the Kinsey Report (and to my amazement, a move was made about him and his wife) and there studies regarding human sexuality and I found it was very interesting. If Kinsey was alive today and was in my shoes filming Broke Straight Boys, this guy would have a field day with all the guys that I've filmed over the years and learned about there sexual behaviors and what makes these guys "tick". Its a very interesting topic and debate.

Back in the early days of BSB1.0, these guys were not 100%, but they were bisexual more on the straight side experimenting with there own sexuality and making money along the way. This was my mantra, for years back on the old days. As time went on, a lot of them were just about doing it for the money, some guys thought they can film and make money to only find out this was not for them. We had guys throw up, we got guys that cried, we got guys that needed the money so much they did things they never thought they would ever do, and some did it once and never to return back again (as they told me, it was fun but not for them and they can't see themselves having sex with guys) it was a learning proccess.

Then there were the days (9-years) I didn't film Broke Straight Boys but I still filmed porn and I was still filming College Boy Physicals and for other site owners I was filming and I notice, times were changing, attitudes were changing and within those 9 years, many of these guys claim to be bisexual, and they are doing it for the money. In those same years, gay rights and being homosexual was becoming a lot more normalized, we got gay marriage and rights as gay man and gay men and women, are more normalized and tolerated in our society.

As the gay community got normalized, the transgender movement came along. Everyday, you here about transgender. MTF (Male To Female) and FTM (Female To Male) and now they are fighting for there rights and if its moral or not...If your born a male and you have male genitals, you can dress up as a women but your still a male...and vice versa for females and now the new era has brought on this new argument in society about Transgender people and there rights and a person.

Then you have bisexual boys/guys that are accepting there sexuality and many of these guys are now comfortable doing porn and social media and these guys are getting bashed on both sides, from the straight community and from the gay community...heck we see it here right on the Broke Straight Boys site. I will film a bisexual guy, we will tell his story about his life and because he has sex or bottoms for the first time or whatever, here on the Broke Straight Boys forum that model gets bashed, we as the studio are called "liars" and we get bashed for it just because we hired a bisexual guy having gay sex and he tells his truth. Then these same guys capitalize on there looks and open a onlyfans site and have sex with other guys being gay or bisexual and again the bashing starts again.

Now I know some are going to say, we only bash because there are truly gay guys on Broke Straight Boys and yes...your right and I agree. Gay guys should NOT be on the Broke Straight Boys site. We can match a first timer bisexual curious straight type guy with a gay guy, but not two gay guys together so I agree with you guys about that and that is another topic. I am writing about the non-gay boys on Broke Straight Boys

When I have the guys sitting around and when we are eating dinner, I learn a lot about the younger generation. Today its so different then when I grew up and the terms they identify themselves is amazing and confusing for me. I've learned about Transgender, CIS Male, Him/HER--they. Using the term gay is offensive now, there is so many so I ask each of you to please, when you watch a scene on Broke Straight Boys, just don't argue that these guys are gay, most of them are not and they are just bisexual, even if you find them on social media having sex with other guys, most of them just like the guys I filmed for BSB1.0 are experimenting with there own sexual identity, there own bisexuality and such. Since I have been filming Broke Straight Boys for the longest time, I can tell you with all my heart, even back in the day with BSB1.0 most of those guys are now married with kids and this was just away to have fun and make money but as they got older, filming gay porn is no longer for them. I just like the guys today, we will hear from them in 5-10 years from now and they will be married with kids and this was just something they did as a younger man to make money.

Thank you guys for letting me Vent about this subject as I think we are all passionate about this particular subject and Broke Straight Boys has really brought this topic to the surface and I think this is why Broke Straight Boys is a unique site compared to other sites.

I keep an open mind and try to take every models word for it. Members, however, have been burned in the past when models stretch the truth in their interviews. The member (like myself) will make comments on their scenes based on that model telling everyone they were straight in their initial interview, and then another member comes on the forum and says, “oh no, this guy has a previous porn name”. You then find videos of this model under their former porn name and you hear them tell a different story saying they are “gay and love being a power bottom”
So, I’m not gonna lie. It’s hard for me to know what to believe anymore. That model is far from the only one who has come on this site and just flat out lied to all of us. I don’t understand why that’s necessary. A perfect recent example is being told Bentley was bottoming for the first time when he’s already bottomed for Clay on his site. I don’t have any doubt about his sexuality, because his twitter looks like he’s pretty honest and straight. I don’t understand why the need to be dishonest. It just makes for an embarrassing moment when a member makes comments based on what he’s been told and then the truth comes out.
Most truly straight, G4P, or bi porn models are pretty consistent on social media. I follow a lot of them. Most of them follow more girls than they do boys and most of them don’t retweet gay porn that they aren’t in themselves…..in other words, they don’t retweet just random gay porn. When you see a model who is claiming to be straight and you click to see who they follow and it’s all gay men and rupaul drag queens, you’re probably being lied to.
These are all just thoughts I’m throwing out there. At the end of the day, this is gay porn, so to be a straight model and get pissed off or have your feelings hurt that no one believes you’re straight is just insecurity in their own sexuality. There are 2 straight guys that I watch on Chaturbate People are constantly calling them gay in the chat and they’ve said many times, “we’re straight, but if you want to think we’re gay, go ahead. Being considered gay is not a negative thing for us. So go ahead and think whatever you want, we’re straight”.

I am not sure and perhaps I don't remember with Bentley, I believe we did mention he's been on other sites and he also claimed he's been on other sites. As for him bottoming on Broke Straight Boys, it was his first time on Broke Straight Boys, but again, I don't think we really touched base on his bottoming. We just assumed when he arrived he would be top, he comes across as one of those models that just want to top so when he told us during his filming week that he is cool with bottoming we let him bottom. We recently filmed Bentley again a few weeks back so he has more scenes coming down the road so I think we spoke about him bottoming and we also spoke about the interview he did with another studio.

I was just basically saying that the models sometimes tell us things in their interviews that turn out not to be true. If you do go to the after scene with Nico, you can read on the description….
“Bentley reveals that it was his first time bottoming, to which Nico reassures him that he took it like a champ. Bentley definitely has more respect for women after having a dick up his ass himself. ”
You can also hear you asking him in that after scene, “so, this was like your first time bottoming?”
All of that is just an example of why sometimes the viewer might be reluctant to believe the model from time to time. Again, I love Bentley and I actually believe he’s the real deal. But he did lie about bottoming.
The other model I mentioned was Kace Axel and that was before D and E took over. Kace even went to the extremes of flying out and only doing a solo his first trip, telling Sha and the members he needed to think about it. Then he came back a second time and even kept his story going in his early scenes bottoming and Sha would ask him each time how he felt. Then finding out 6-8 months later that he had porn under a different name, was much skinnier, and said he was gay and was basically a power bottom or something to that effect.
I’m not saying any of this to come at you or Sha or anyone, because maybe you didn’t know any of it just like the rest of us. I’m just using it all as an example of why some people on the forum might be hesitant to believe what is being said from time to time.

I agree with what your saying. We do our best to interview a guy and we can find out about his past experience but I have to admit, I don't follow these guys and what they have done prior or after and I don't think Sha did the same, we just get caught up with the work and planning and we don't look at there prior work or where they film afterwards and what they say to other studios. Case in point with Charlie Knox, he never film before this was his first studio. He arrived in May and stayed with us for two weeks filming. While he was here he lined himself up with work with that oral site and they filmed him afterwards and then on there site, he claims to be bisexual but I guess if you look at the bigger picture, he would be bisexual because technically speaking he did have gay sex with us prior to him going to that other studio.

The point is, blatant lying is not right and I would be pissed off as well, so now when a guy tells me he filmed prior with xyz.com site or has OF/JFF and is on Twitter, I am getting into the habit of checking out there prior work and there social media sites so that when they arrive and film and leave, we are getting the updated hopefully true story from them.

Overall, don't be angry or pissed off or upset...the guys that do this are really nice guys but they are just trying to figure out there sexuality, there life and there income so they got to do and say what they got to say just to get the job done and make the director/producers happy for that particular site.

I understand and respect that you guys do your best to check out these guys beforehand, and I appreciate you understanding why some of us can be a bit suspicious at times, it’s because we’ve been burned in the past…lol.
Hey, I can dig Charlie deciding he’s bisexual after he left Broke Straight Boys Maybe he enjoyed the sex at Broke Straight Boys and in his mind he thought, “I really enjoyed that more than I let on. Maybe I am bisexual”. Anything’s possible.

Perhaps that is what Charlie is thinking. Overall I know he had a great time filming with our studio. It was challenging for him and as you watch his scenes, you will tell it didn't come easy for Charlie. His nickname off camera was "Baby Steps" because we had to take more time with Charlie then the other models. I hope we can see Charlie again in future Broke Straight Boys updates and I think we will be seeing him back again.

He may not be my type concerning his looks, but sure do how he acts and talks.Aand I respect how he puts himself into his work and enjoy it.
